Hello again!
After 4 beautiful days in Seoul, me and my family heading to Hong Kong to continue our year end holiday. We decided to chose Hong Kong because it was cheap and has a good flight connection back to Malaysia. Taiwan and Japan were on the list, however from Japan there is only two weekly flight directly from Tokyo to Kota Kinabalu via Malaysia Airlines, while from Taipei there’s two daily flights to Kota Kinabalu (but both depart very early in the morning).

Incheon was very busy at this time, like any other big airports.
Check-in
Check-in took so long. However because we were in group of 12, we got ourself a counter where a friendly and nice lady managed our check-in process. She asked for our outbound flight reservation from Hong Kong and told us they rarely received passenger other than Korean and Hong Konger, so she was very delighted to attend us. Without request, we were allowed to check-in all our luggage, means we don’t have to bring any luggage up to the cabin. Gamsahamnida for your generosity!
After clearing security and immigration we went straight to the satelitte terminal by underground passageways.

After having dinner at the only Halal friendly restaurant, we went to our respective gate.
The Flight
At boarding gate, the lady from the counter approached us and greet us again. She told my sister with her 3 little boys and my mom to queue at a priority lane so they can board the aircraft first.
Before leaving, she wished us safe flight and good bye. I think this kind of hospitality you will not get from a premium carrier.
A China Eastern Airlines A330-300 scheduled back to Shanghai Pudong later.
First time on HK Express, those purple slim seats are very pleasant to my eyes!

After a very good sleep onboard, we arrived in Hong Kong at 2 am.
We decided to spend the night at the airport.

I walked around the terminal to see the surrounding. Can’t sleep anymore.
Travelling during protest period in Hong Kong was actually safe.
