Hi everybody !
After a great week in Dubai, it's time to go back in France.
My flight takes off for Amsterdam at 2:30 am. It's very late I think !
A friend will be traveling with me on this flight, our four other friends are staying an extra day.
We were staying at the Hilton Dubai Creek. We leave the hotel at 11:45 pm with a Uber after thanking our friends for this beautiful vacation that is coming to an end.
At midnight, the driver drops us off in front of the terminal 3.
The terminal is empty due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Most scheduled flights go to Europe
Miss B. traveling with me so we can go through the Sky Priority queue. ;-)
After collecting our boarding passes and checking in a baggage, we head to the automatic border control.
We will quickly take a tour of the duty-free where I will buy a model of an Emirates 777-300er and a "Remove before flight" bag tag.
Also with the statut of my travel partner, we can go to the lounge. Currently, the Marhaba is used by AF / KLM.
Despite the hour, the lounge is almost full !
I had eaten 4 hours earlier at the Dubai Mall. I'm not hungry but I would still go get something to snack on. A blueberry muffin, an orange juice and a bottle of water.
My friend take a little more ! ;-)
We leave the lounge at 1:15 am. When we arrive at gate B12, boarding is ready to begin

I rediscovered this cabin which I already know is very uncomfortable !
We will be two passengers for three seats.
The IFE screen has a good quality and a lot of choice of movies, music and games.
Boarding is almost completed.
At 2:15 am, we push 15 minutes earlier than expected. A little more than 7 hours of flight are announced.
We take off at 2:26 am.
Destination : Amsterdam !
The middle seat remains free, I can make myself comfortable !
Immediately after take-off, a bottle of water, headphones and the "personal protection pack" will be distributed.
Almost all passengers are already asleep when dinner is served.
The only choice available is the Vegetarian Biryani.
The dish is too spicy, I leave more than half on the platter. Only the carrot-cake was good.
I put on my eye mask and start to fall asleep.
I am woken up by noise. Could it be the breakfast service that begins?
No, there are still 6 hours of flight time and the cabin-crew distributed these plastic bags for breakfast.
I cannot sleep well despite the fatigue. The seat is way too hard for my back!
I am definitely waking up above Greece. There is still 2h30 of flight.
Flight is approximately 70% full. Most part of the passengers sleep.
The cabin lights are on 25 minutes before landing. The passengers wake up quickly and rush to the toilets.
Smooth landing. Welcome to Amsterdam! It is 6:45 a.m. local time.
We're at the gate at 6:55 a.m., perfectly on time.
A passport control as well as a PCR test control are carried out at the exit of the jetbridge.
I have 20 minutes left before boarding the flight to Paris. Let's run! ;-)

Quite disappointed by the service offered by KLM.
The flight schedule allows you to take advantage of the last day in Dubai, but 2:30 am is much too late for take off!
The catering is also disappointing. It lacks a real breakfast.
The cabin is beautiful but still so uncomfortable!

It's a shame that the cabin is so uncomfortable! I also find the plane very noisy!
The meals are really reduced to the strict minimum, my friends who returned with Air France had the right to a substantial breakfast!
