Hi everyone!
I’m new on this site and this is my first flight report; I hope you enjoy reading it!

I got to Buenos Aires Aeroparque Jorge Newbery some 3 hours before the flight. So I went to departures side and checked-in. It was really fast because I didn’t have any luggage and I have picked my seat when I booked the flight.

Then I went upstairs to get through security to get to the airside part. It was really fast as well.
So I spent some hours spotting planes. AEP is my favorite Argentinean airport because it’s exactly between downtown and the Plata River. There’re only a few companies that operate in this airport. At the time I was there it was mostly Aerolineas Argentinas/Austral and LAN Argentina as it’s the airlines hub for domestic destinations.

So at 18:00 I went near gate 11 and they were starting to board. We went downstairs where there was a bus waiting for us to take us to the remote location. There was our plane and E-190, the LV-CIE. We boarded very fast. The flight was 90% full there were most Argentineans and some Brazilians as well.

My seat was 5A, I had chosen it when I booked the flight earlier that day. This new aircraft has PTV. There are a few TV channels, some music too. They use this aircraft for domestic and regional flights for less than 4 hours. Before taking off the FA came and gave us headset, they said it was a present and we could keep them.
At 18:45 we took off and headed northwest, as Rosario is at 300 km northwest from Buenos Aires.
A few minutes later the FA came to give us the snack. They were little plastic zip bags that contained a juice box, a cereal bar and a candy, we didn’t need more as it’s a 30’ flight!
Leg room, for me it’s ok, I’m 1.75 m.

At 19.05 the captain announced we were descending and that in a couple of minutes we were landing in Rosario Islas Malvinas International Airport. Finally at 19.15 we took off. The captain thanked us for flying Austral and whished us a happy stay.

Thanks for sharing this first FR and welcome aboard
It's nicer when comments are before the pictures so one doesn't need to scroll up after reading
Great spotting at the airport
Catering is enough for a 30 minutes flight
Welcome here!
We are glad to have some new Flight-Reporters from this part of the world! We are desperately missing South American voice!
Regarding your flight, nice pictures, this aircraft seems sparkling new, nice to have PTV (so does TACA) even if they are of little use considering the short duration of the flight.
One detail though, most of us prefer to have the comment before the picture (and not after as it is the case here).
Once again welcome aboard ;)
Thanks for sharing this first report! good report with good pics and description and with a new airport for the site! Welcome to Flight-Report!
Interesting report and an airline that (for shame!) I had not heard of!
Thanks for this first FR and welcome aboard ! I think you're the first Argentinian contributor and I echo Leadership in warm welcomes.
I'm glad to discover PTV and a correct pitch on this aircraft as I will soon be flying it on a much longer route (AEP-USH).
