TRANSIT AMSTERDAM
The airport was quiet at that time:

I had 5H to kill here and decided to see if I could use the Non Schengen lounge that has loungers instead of the chairs and is far more comfortable. It wasn't a problem to clear police controls, I just had to explain why I wanted to go to this zone.

non schengen lounge
Here I am:

The lounge is pretty empty:

This is the quiet zone I was looking for:

I just had a coffee and water for the time being:

A little walk around the lounge:

I love the Delft houses:

It is more than quiet today!

There is an outside terrace:

A dreamliner:

A330 :

It's a nice place but mind, it is non smoking :)

The blue restaurant has never been a success and seems to be indefinitively closed:

I then had a soup and two profiteroles, which were good:

the flight
An hour before it I made my way to the Police controls to go back to the Schengen area.

Paxbus boarding:

The bus was only loaded with 25 pax to respect social distanciation, a good thing:

Our plane for tonight's ride:

Door:

There was an equipment swap and again, those E-75 dreaded seats:

I was the sole passenger in Business class.
A bit of Embraer Spotting :)

Seat pitch:

Fwd view:

CityHopper everywhere:

A 767:

No Polderbaan tonight:

Heading back home :)

We were treated with nice view over Amsterdam:

The airport:

Almost sunset:

Over the clouds:

The box is back :)

Mexican salad tonight:

My way:

Only water for this flight:

The most beautiful view on earth is in the sky:

Sunset:

I love those moments…

We started our descent:

13 degrees at the begining of August. This summer has been horrible in most of France, too cold, too rainy, like a never ending autumn :(

Arrived:

We were taken by bus to the sanitary controls:

Luggage delivery hall:

This way for me:

And back to my car :)

Nice set of reports!
The International Crown Lounge seems way better than the Schenguen area crown lounge.. Need to try it!
Thanks for sharing
Thanks Chris for the nice comment! The non Schengen lounge is definitively worth a visit!
