I work as a tour guide in Iceland and mid-December is one of the few very quiet times of the year – perfect time to travel. I was planning to go to Gambia with Royal Air Maroc but Morocco decided to cancel all flights to and from the country. I booked a Lufthansa flight from Paris to Cairo only four days before departure at a very reasonable rate of 550 € return in business class, and I had already booked a one-way flight from Paris to Budapest with Swiss. Here are all my flights:

My plane from Paris landed at 17.05. Boarding for my flight to Budapest was supposed to start at 17.15 but there was a small delay.
I didn't have time to go to the Swiss Lounge.
I hadn't been to Zurich Airport for 12 years. It looked nice.
I rushed to my gate but boarding hadn't started yet.
Boarding started at 17.43. Priority boarding was available.
The plane on this flight was an A220-300, tail number HB-JCA, first registered in 2017. There was a surprising 8 rows of business class. For a detailed description of Swiss' A220 business class cabin see my previous flight report here.
My seat was 1D, the aisle seat on the right side of the bulkhead row.

Push-back was at 18.12 for a scheduled departure time of 17.45. An expected flight time of 1 hour and 20 minutes was announced. Take-off was at 18.28.
The cabin crew was once again in a very good mood.
The meal was served shortly after take-off: cold meat, salad, cheese and dessert. It was good.
Entertainment was provided by two, very elegantly dressed women in their 50s or 60s. The one in seat 1F was very grumpy, didn't have dinner and reclined her seat. The one in seat 2F was having dinner and tried to push back the seat of the passenger in front of her. They argued and almost started to fight like two kids. The one at 1F called the purser "Hey, honey" and asked her to move the passenger in row 2; the purser, who worked very professionally during the entire flight, answered "I'm not your honey". The two passengers kept yelling at each other for another 20 minutes or so.
The rest of the flight went uneventful.
We landed at 19.48 for a scheduled arrival time of 19.20 at Budapest Airport. Business class passengers were taken to the terminal by a separate bus.

Swiss is by far the shining star in the Lufthansa Group and that A220 is a nice addition to their fleet. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for your comment. Swiss has a much better short-haul business class than Lufthansa. I've yet to try Swiss' long-haul business class to be able to compare it to LH.
