Introduction
This return trip report is from 2017. I had arrived in Mumbai few week ago, read Malaysia Airlines MH186 Kuala Lumpur to Mumbai.
I would be transiting through Kuala Lumpu. Transit time was 1hr:55min.
Arriving at Airport
Arrived early to airport. Was dropped at airport by family.
Checked the flight flight details, Waited outside for sometime as I was early. check-in counter had opened. I had printed the ticket before coming to airport as entry is allowed only to passengers with valid ticket. Passport was checked by security.
Check-in
Check-in queue was short as I was early. Check-in bag was underweight, I got boarding pass for both flight and bag would be received in Sydney.
Immigration and Security
After completing check-in, proceeded to security check. which was completed in few minutes.
Immigration queue was long. Took about 30 mins to clear immigration. I was asked where I live and what i do by immigration officer. He stamped passport and was allowed in the departure area.
Food court
I decided to have food before boarding. India had introduced GST in July 2017. Bill below paying GST for 1st time. CGST - Central GST, SGST - State GST.
Ordered Chicken Shawarma roll, got potato chips and lemon tea.

After food, walked towards the departure area. I spotted as I was walking towards gate.

Reached gate,there was still time for gate to open, passengers had gathered around waiting.
Boarding opened for the flight on time.
Boarding pass was scanned and allowed to continue towards aircraft.

Crew checked boarding pass and directed passengers.

Pushback and Departure
Pushback commenced after doors were closed. Crew distributed headphones. Safety instructions were demonstrated on personal screen.
Aircraft was parked on the West side of terminal. Taxi took time. Watch video to enjoy the flight.

Ready to roll on runway 27. Queue formed for departure.
Departing towards West.
After departure, aircraft turned South and then East towards Kuala Limpur.

Meal - Chicken curry, daal, rice and roti with rasmalai for dessert.

Thanks for sharing this report. I couldn't believe that this is the same aircraft as the one I flew several weeks ago. They removed the seats with a seatback IFE and replaced it with wifi-based IFE.
