This is part 2 of my 3 leg return to US from India.
On arriving in DEL from BOM, I followed signs for International Transfer

The Immigration/transfer process was chaotic. It wasn't too crowded but we had people trying to cut the line - if there was one(specially the wheelchair handlers). This left me with about 10-15 minutes in the Plaza Premium Lounge reserved for business class travelers.
Food was okay there and boarding was announced at 13.40(1 hour before departure). Walked to the gate and spotted the Vistara plane in retro TATA SIA livery

The Dreamliner business product was amongst the best I've seen. The true window seats were private and the footwell had lot of room. The screen was large. I was satisfied with the seat.

No amenity kits on UK, though they provided 3 brown bags with slippers, eye masks and socks. For pre departure beverage they had an option for Aamras(mango pulp) which was quite surprising as I'm used to having it in a bowl and not a glass. It was authentic and quite good.

Menu's were provided pre-takeoff. I opted to have the meal a bit later as I was not hungry. Crew were happy to do that. There was some miscommunication as I asked for a coffee and nuts but they assumed I want it after my meal. About 2 hours into the flight I asked them about it and they apologized about the confusion. The lead flight attendant checked on it and for the remainder of the flight, she ensured I get good service.

Food was decent. They offered different types of bread and paratha with the meal.
Coffee(not pictured) was quite good. Lunch came with dal makhani, boondi raita and some moong salad. They didn't offer dessert and I didn't ask either as none of them looked interesting to me. I was quite full and happy with just coffee post my meal.
I managed to sleep for a couple of hours after my meal. The bed mode was comfortable and I didn't have any issue with the footwell, which has been an issue on similar seats on EY and UA

Pre arrival meal was a light snack. IIRC, BA serves(or used to) a full second meal on this route. It was decent but not filling. Salad was dry and could have used some dressing. I'm not a fan of white chocolate so I just had the cake part at the bottom

I asked for a fast track card and the crew thought I was speaking Latin. Asked another crew member and some time later she said Vistara does not provide one.
LHR T3 Border control was a joke. An Emirates A380 had landed ahead of us. Fasttrack line was closed anyways and it took over 90 minutes to clear immigration. Bags were waiting for me and I took the tube to Hatton Cross to spend the night at Hilton there.
Great to see a Vistara 787 Business class review! The cabin looks really nice from what I can see. I believe LiveTV was originally planned with the installation of Wi-Fi but somehow it didn't happen so hopefully will at some point.
P.S. make sure you put the scheduled dep and arr times in before you post. I looked up the flights and added them for you because they were left blank so the flight time wasn't calculating.
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks, I took my final leg on UA 767 Polaris from LHR-EWR yesterday and it was bad. Just makes me appreciate Vistara service, food, cleanliness etc. Asia and ME airports do not have many of the problems(staff shortage, long lines, strikes!) impacting airports in the Europe and North America.
Great on-board product! Thanks for sharing
