Hi everybody,
Taking advantage of a week's vacation before doing my final internship, I look at air tickets for all of Europe 3 weeks before the departure date and realize that many tickets are at excessively low prices. The lifting of restrictions in many countries makes me want to travel and wishing to see my family in Romania and in Israel, as well as to see a school friend in Germany, I manage to organize a routing for the sum of 172€.
The routing will be as follows:
Flight routing
- 1RO382 - Economique - Paris → Bucarest - Boeing B737-800
- 2W63257 - Economique - Bucarest → Tel Aviv - A321 Neo
- 3FR1843 - Economique - Tel Aviv → Baden-Baden - Boeing B737-800
This first leg from Pairs to Bucharest will be the most expensive. Indeed, no Low Cost flight is proposed this Sunday and despite many tested flight configurations, it will be impossible for me to find a cheaper flight than this one with Tarom: 132 €.
This will be the opportunity to reschedule Tarom on an international flight and will give me the chance to try the famous Boeing 737-800 from Malaysia Airlines.
Not having received any email from Tarom, I check-in 20 hours before the theoretical departure time and move back from seat 6F to 26A, thinking I would have more room for me; I was wrong!
Not having any luggage, I arrive 2 hours early at CDG via the RER B, which will not serve the 2-TGV station because of works.

After a small tour of CDG val sport, I arrive at terminal 2

I will pass very fast the security controls
The FIDS :

Leaving from the Hall L, I take advantage of huge windows for the spotting
B777 Air France

But also, more exotic
B787 Air India

And in front of the double south pists
B787-8 Thai

B777 Singapore Airlines

A220 Air France

Then I go back to our boarding gate where our B737-800 Tarom is awaiting for us to board

The plane is full and I would be one of the last to board

Fuselage Shot :

Doar instant :

Passage through the real business class :

Then, I would arrive at my seat on 26 A
Having no more room in the cabin, my suitcase will be stored in the cabin crew compartment allowing me to see the ground at the level of the waterlogged toilets

The pitch is ok but not wonderful for such a long flight :

But above all, the great interest of this cabin: the IFE (which is not used by Tarom, and it's a shame!)

The ceiling light seems to indicate that the aircraft is still quite young

We will push back on time
Our neighboor, an E190 Hop!

And behind an A319 Rossiya that we will not see again at CDG for a while

We will line up in the middle of the 09L, a first for me
Last view on the barcode terminal

And a last, but no less magnificent B787-900 Air Tahiti Nui

We take off and the cruise starts under a radiant weather:

The service begins and ends with a choice of still or sparkling water

I find that really bad from Tarom, especially considering the price of the ticket!
The continuation of the flight will be under a thick cloudy layer

That we will cross for a long time during the approach:

Before seeing the ground in the end

And kiss landing on time

The taxiway is the same as usual at OTP, with all the aircraft stored, but also the low cost carriers
B737-300 RO

A318 Tarom

B737 Blue Air and A321 Neo Wizz

B737-500 Blue Air and B737-300 Air Bucharest

B737-8 Max Blue Air

Then, the corner of the lawnmowers with ATR 72 Tarom and Air Serbia

We will be parked next to an A321 Austrian and a B737 Tarom

The disembarkation will take a long time and I will get my suitcase back next to the big puddle of water in the toilets
Last view on our plane, after a not so memorable flight

OTP has reorganized its passport controls and has opened many more kiosks, but without organizing a way to access each of the kiosks. In short, we play elbows and I would spend almost 1 hour before managing to leave OTP.
The counter to change its euros is closed.
But, well after a beautiful galley, I would have my cab for 50 Lei until the center of Bucharest

Thanks for reading
See you soon for the next part of the tour
