INTRODUCTION
After two weeks in Canada, I headed back to Israel.
Here is my experience on the way back from Toronto to Tel Aviv on the Boeing 787-9.

SPOTTING IN YYZ
I started my journey in the Niagara falls, on my way back to Toronto, I looked for a good spotting location, and I found one.

Probably those aircraft are not special, but as an Israeli I found them interesting, since I never saw them in Europe or in Israel.

I started my day in the airport in the rental car area.

After I finished with the returning car process, I made my way to the terminal.

YYZ AIRPORT - TERMINAL 1
After 5 minutes of walking, I arrived to the check in area:

Unfortunately, this was (again) self check in area.
Like I mentioned in previous flight reports about my flights in Canada, I had to balance to weight in my suitcases until all of them weighted up to 23kg each.
In Europe and Israel I never had such issue, I could easily send one suitcase with a bit overweight (24-25kg) and the other one with less weight (20-21kg), meaning the average weight will be up to 23kg.
This was very frustrating since we had 3 suitcases, and on each time I had to move items between the suitcases and check their weight after every change.
Fortunately though, I was able to handle this situation!

After it, I made my way to the security area (no photos from this area since it is prohibited).

Finally, one hour after I returned the car, I arrived to the shops and dinning area!

The dinning area was pretty cool!
There is a bar, as well as 2-3 places to eat.

I ate hamburger in the dining area, the prices were reasonable for airport.
After I finished the meal, I went to the shops:

The duty free shop was nice, but there were more options for shopping on the airport.
There are more places to eat in the airport, near the terminal gates:

I quite like this concept!
Of course, I must include a toilet review ;)

As you can see, the toilets were clean.
I grab some coffee and photographed aircraft, as I like to do before flights.

C-FVLU
In service since February 2018,
Currently (April 2023) 5 years old, meaning it was approximately 4.5 years old when I flew on it.

The legroom was good for me, however for taller people, it can be a bit tight.

One hour into the flight, the crew served the first meal:

The meal included: Egg and Potato salad, bread roll, butter, pasta with cream and mushrooms, chocolate cake and a bottle of water.
This meal was tasty, however the main dish (the pasta) was too small for such long flight.
2 and a half hours into the flight, over the Atlantic:

Cabin view:

Snacks area near the galley:

I could choice a meat sandwich or a roll with vegetables, I tried the roll, it was nice but small.
I also went to the toilet:

As you can see, the toilet cleanliness was OK, but could be better.
The rest of the flight was uneventful and very boring.
I saw flight attendant walking in aisle, and since I sat in the window seat, my fiancee sat next to me, and next to her sat some passenger who slept almost all the flight, we didn't want to interrupt her sleep, so we asked the flight attendant if he can bring us some snack, he refused.
I must say that this behavior was a bit disappointing, since we asked it in a respectable way and we explained the situation.
I requested such things in the past in other airlines, and never got such answer.
Anyway, after 6 hours we were somewhere over Germany\Switzerland border:

Almost 7 hours after take off, the crew served us a snack and drinks:

As I already mentioned, this roll was tasty but small.
Somewhere over Turkey or Greece, 2 hours before landing:

Cabin view:

I like the lightning on the newer Boeing aircraft, it looks very good in my opinion.
Some island:

One hour before landing, the crew served us breakfast. I could choice between pancakes and omelette, I went for the first one.

The breakfast included: Sliced fruits, bread, butter, pancakes and a bottle of water.
The pancakes were tasty, but the fruits were flavorless.

My future flight reports:
TLV-BUD-TLV with Ryan Air (November 2022)
TLV-FCO-TLV with Ryan Air (February 2023)
TLV-PFO-TLV with Elal (operated by SmartWings) on the outbound flight and with Israir (operated by SmartWings probably) on the inbound flight
TLV-PRG-TLV with Elal (Currently the outbound flight by TUS and the inbound flight with Elal, hopefully they won't change it!)
You sure did, great angle! The AC A220s look awesome in the new livery. Flair on the otherhand...yuck, haha
Legroom looks pretty good considering there's some big items in the seat pocket. Overall a very nice and fresh looking cabin.
Small and just kind of boring. No protein at all.
I am impressed by the fresh snacks in the galley, so I supposed that makes up a little bit for the smaller portions of the 1st meal. The breakfast seems decent and it's nice that it was a hot breakfast, though it looks super sloppy like it was dropped on the floor haha.
Thanks for sharing!
The items in the pocket seat weren't so big, just two cases of our headphones.
Regarding the meal - I don't think that the snacks makes up the smaller portion, I flew on routes with similar flight time like TLV-BKK-TLV or TLV-PEK-TLV (with Elal, you probably read them in the past, if you didn't, maybe you can take a look :)) and as far as I remember, the meals were bigger, and they also offered a snack bar and drinks in the galley.
The breakfast didn't look the best, but it was tasty, so I can forgive them :)
