introduction
After 3 days in Budapest, I flew back to Israel.
Budapest was a very nice destination to visit, for those of you who interest in old aircraft, I suggest to visit the museum near the airport, where you can find old soviet aircraft.
I woke up very early to catch this flight, I really hate it, but for price of the flight I agreed.
BUD AIRPORT - TERMINAL 2B
I arrived to the airport 2 hours before the flight, since I had only hand baggage and fast track, it was enough.
The entrance to the airport:

Departures schedule in the airport:

The security process was very fast, it took maybe 10 minutes to finish it.
I saw that the standard queue also went pretty fast, though not like the fast track that saved us some time.
After the security process, we went directly to the duty free:

The duty free shop in BUD airport is pretty nice, I could find many chocolates, snacks, perfumes, cosmetics, cigarettes, etc.
The prices were higher than the prices in Budapest, but it was still a nice duty free shop.
This nice Audi also catched my eyes ;)

The terminal:

As you can see, in November the terminal was already decorated for Christmas.
In addition to the duty free shop, there were more shops in the terminal, which was a nice thing.

Terminal view from the food court:

The food court was pretty nice, there are couple of options to choose.
We went to the coffee shop, prices are reasonable for airport, baguette costs approximately 5 Euro.
The variety was very good.

Loo review, as usual :)

Someone before didn't flush, but otherwise it was clean.
In the food court, there was also a bar, but it was close on 6AM.

Another shop in the duty free - sports shop:

After finishing in the duty free area, we went to the gate area, as well as to the passport control.
After the passport control there was another duty free shop:

Gate area:

The queue was pretty lengthy, and it took some time to get to the aircraft.

FLIGHT EXPERIENCE - BUD TO TLV
Boeing 737-8AS(WL)
SP-RKO
In service since June 2015, making it a bit more than 7 years old when I flew on it
This was exactly the same aircraft that made the outbound flight from TLV to BUD.
Legroom:

The legroom is standard and was ok for 3 hours flight.
Some wear and tear of the cabin:

Cabin view:

We had an hour delay, since some passenger didn't board the aircraft and they had to find the suitcase.
Push back time:

Take off video:
Shortly after take off, with the beautiful sunrise colors:

Aircraft loo review time!

As you can see, the loo was in good condition and clean.
40 minutes after the take off, the crew started the buy on board service, I bought coffee:

It tasted horribly, at least it was reasonably priced.
The rest of the flight was uneventful. Nothing to write home about.
Starting to decent:

Bus took us to terminal 3.
TLV AIRPORT - TERMINAL 3
The was a long line to the passport control, we waited 10-15 minutes.
After it, we went to the baggage claim area:

Thanks for sharing. If you are not too demanding, Ryanair is not soo bad.
I have only used BUD once and haven't noticed those nice facilities.
That's right, Ryanair offers a basic product, but it's cheap and I never had problem with them.
You always know what to expect and the experience on 5 flights with them (BGY-TLV, TLV-BUD-TLV and TLV-FCO-TLV) was pretty much the same.
You also know what to expect, unlike some airlines that wet lease aircraft.
I think that BUD airport was very nice, if I had a flight later at the day, I even could eat and drink in the bar.
This market is perfect for Ryanair with a flight time of just under 3h. Flying an LCC starts to become painful to TLV from Western Europe where the flight times can be over 5h. Ryanair also offer better legroom than most other LCCs in Europe. I’ve never really had much opportunity to fly FR but will finally have my first flight with them in a few weeks.
Thanks for sharing!
Totally agree, for short flights it's fine.
For 5 hours flight I would fly with legacy airline.
I flew to Rome with Ryanair, but I sat in the emergency exit row, and the experience was much better.
I found Easyjet more comfortable than Ryanair, although both of them offer similar experience on board.
