Review of Qatar Airways flight from Doha to Jakarta in Economy

We got off the plane that took us to DOH from vce as described in the report FLIGHT VCE DOH QATAR QR 126.
And here we are waiting for the next flight that will take us to Jakarta.

We are waiting for 4 hours and 20 minutes.
What better idea than to find a place to have a drink ….

We wander around a bit and find the place that suits us and take a seat . 

Not far away you can see the runway with parked planes even though it is night….

The airport is really big and there are stores and bars, restaurants just about everywhere.

There are also luxury car shows…

A small playground for children can also be found.

Walking a little here and a little there, we arrive at the airport garden….

But here comes boarding time and we approach our gate.

boarding was via bus and from the C37 gate we ended up, after an endless loop, on an F something apron!!!

Airbus 350-900 I really like it.

The seats are spacious and the distance to the one in front is comfortable to move around and stretch your legs, and I don't touch with my knees…the seat in front; knee-to-seat distance about 20 cm.

The screen is touch and also has a small console.
An outside view is also provided.

Again, safety instructions are carried out via e video and always present safety instraction.

The crew is professional and present.
The toilets are a bit small but still functional.
Meal service arrives earlier than others because it was ordered when booking, and breakfast is also good as always.
The choice of beverages is varied and I confirm good both wine and bubbly.

Good variety of movies also in Italian language.


The flight, long for me takes place without particular problems except for a little turbulence, but nothing serious and for a short time.
I also manage to sleep almost immediately. At le end the 8 hours pass quickly. is fast and there is mail on the hat racks

Arriving at the Jakarta airport, disembarking from the finger is quick and baggage claim is also quick with some confusion and crush created by other passengers crammed in front of the baggage belt.

The bathrooms are very clean and the staff always smiling and friendly .
In the long transit corridors to get to baggage claim there are stations to do VOA, which is quick and you can also pay by credit card.
After baggage claim one has to make the customs declaration from a cell phone by scanning a qr code.
After this a qr code is downloaded to present at the customs checkpoint and then you are finally there.
I purchased a sim from the Telekomsel desk and also did a currency exchange from one of the exchanges located at the airport.
Just outside is the confusion that distinguishes Asian airports.
With the help of people outside the airport, we quickly find the bus pickup point for our hotel…i n anticipation of the next flight to LOMBOK.
