It was a quick flight from Doha to Jeddah to perform a Ramadan umrah (pilgrimage) in Makkah.

It was a new plane. Seats were not as crammed as they usually are in QA B787s.

Surprisingly there was in flight complementary wifi. Aircraft details.
The plane departed and landed on time.
First they served child meal. Not sure what it was but not very tasty. Perhaps vegetarian.
For adults it was Arabic stew
Meal was provided as described in the reservation
The stew had too many chickpeas for my liking.
Rice pudding was great.
