Review of Bangkok Airways flight from Bangkok to Chiang Mai in Economy

After going though customs I find my 2 friends waiting for me outside. We go upstairs to the departure level to check ourselves in and get our boarding cards.
We go through security controls and on the other-side we go straight to the Bangkok Airways lounge.
At the entrance the lounge dragon probably hates her job but she clings on it…

The lounge is a little crowded but we'll find 3 seats on the left part of the lounge.
The buffet is much better than when I last came here.

Some beautiful orchids can be found everywhere in the lounge, you know you are in Thailand !

My selection from the buffet. I really like the banana sticky rice with red beans. There was also a seafood quiche, red bean croissants, sundried bananas, tuna sandwiches and rice crackers.

After reading a couple of email and chat with my friends, we started to walk to the boarding gate towards our Airbus 320 HS-PGV painted with the Krabi colours. A bus will take us to the plane.

The flight is rather full tonight and we are amongst the first to board.

The captain will introduce the safety demos after welcoming us on board !

After a short taxi we took off in the night towards Chiang Mai.
The flight is short so the cabin attendants started the service soon after.

Dring the flight we'll be able to watch Just for Laughs on the screen.

The cabin crew will serve a tray with sandwiches and an excellent Banana crumble.

For the drinks you have a choice of coffee, water and orange juice which is EXCESSIVELY sweet, even for me and I have a sweet tooth !

The cabin is quiet, a lot of people are asleep…
