HONG KONG INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Check-in counters for Emirates are located at Aisle G of Hong Kong International Airport. Check-in was efficient because there were plenty of counters available. There were also dedicated lanes for passengers travelling in First and Business class.

Emirates has three daily departures out of HKG: EK 383 departs at 7:10 pm, EK 385 departs at 9:30 pm, and EK 381 departs at 12:40 am.
Even though I arrived early, I still managed to have my luggage checked because they had started accepting early check-in for my flight.

BOARDING
Boarding was at Gate 60, which is located at the far end of the terminal building. There was also a very nice display at the gate that clearly showed the flight number, departure time, and destination.

There was a dedicated bridge for First and Business class passengers, leading directly to the upper deck.

SEAT
Emirates uses customized versions of Safran's S-Lounge business-class seats on its A380s. A total of 76 seats, arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration, were installed across two cabins.

Faux walnut wood panels were installed on the window frames, side table, and TV frame, creating a more luxurious atmosphere.

AMENITIES
A range of amenities was provided on this flight, including a Bulgari amenity kit, slippers and eye mask, and loungewear.

FOOD AND BEVERAGES
Catering for this flight was provided by Cathay Dining. Two meals were served on this red-eye flight: a light meal shortly after takeoff, and breakfast about two hours before landing.

For the first meal, I chose wok-fried beef with rice, finished with a delightful cheese plate.

For breakfast, I opted for the omelette.

ONBOARD FACILITIES
What makes the Emirates A380 unique is its onboard bar and social area. Staffed by a bartender, it offers a wide selection of alcoholic beverages and cocktails from the menu.

The bathroom is clean and features Emirates’ signature warm wooden color tone.

ARRIVAL
After around 7.5 hours of flying, our aircraft safely arrived at Dubai International Airport.
