Hello everyone, and welcome to another exciting flight report!
This time I'm flying with IndiGo aboard one of its vintage Airbus A320-232s, making this journey even more special. Our aircraft, VT-IAR, is nearly 12 years old, and I was genuinely excited to experience one of IndiGo's older workhorses before they gradually leave the fleet.
Flying during the monsoon season is always a treat, and this flight was no exception. We departed at one of my favourite times of the day—sunset into the magical afterglow—which gave us breathtaking views of the sky. Throughout the journey, I witnessed incredible shades of monsoon clouds, ranging from soft bluish-grey to deep dark-grey,to deep bluish grey on final approach creating a spectacular canvas outside the window that kept changing every few minutes.
The flight was also quite turbulent for much of the journey, adding a little extra excitement to the experience. While the bumps were noticeable, they made the flight even more memorable and enjoyable from an aviation enthusiast's perspective.

Here is a mosque right at the end of RWY 19R which will be demolished soon due to the expansion of the runway..its intresting cause I have never seen any structure like this ever at any airport.

We took off from RWY 19L and made a sharp left turn heading towards north west towards LKO and climbed at our cruising altitude of 36000 FT over the beautiful monsoon clouds.

As we ascended to cruise the cabin crew began inflight service, though I had not prr ordered on this fkight I decided to buy on board and chose cashew nut case which came alone with a free choice of beverage and I opted for a low sugar Masala chai for my mom and the entire meal costed just 200 INR.

And within an hour and 16 minutes we landed in beautiful afterglowed lucknow which due to monsoon cloud cover appeared to be extremely rare bluish grey.Thank you for flying with my today and I hope to see you again on my yet another flight very soon 🙏
