needing to go to Bordeaux, I had pleanty of choices
Having the AF "carte jeune", an offer at 34€ is made by AF.
As it wouldn't be cheaper by TGV, i chose this offer.
However, 2 weeks after the booking, I received a mail announcing that my flight is cancelled and we are rebooked on the flight at 4.50 pm operated by Air France Hop !
Big surprise for me for 2 reasons :
- I expected to fly on an A320 family aircraft on ORY-BOD
- My flight is announced to be operated by an Embraer whereas at ORY, only CRJ aircraft are operating for AF Hop!
I made my check-in the day before the flight.
The airplane seems to be full. An offer at 49€ for the "Business" class is purposed by AF.

I arrive at 3.30 pm for a theorical boarding at 4.20 pm.

The security checks will be done in 30 minutes, which vas very long to me.
2 posts only were opened. However, the staff is very nice and seems to suffer as much as us.
Then, we seated in a hall which was full of people.
The FIDS :
Our airplane arrives around 4 pm.
It is wearing the new livery.
Stillsurprised to see an embraer connected to the bridge.
This makes me think that the TGV is taking more and more place instead of the airplane on the line Paris-Bordeaux.
Our boarding will start with a 10 min delay.

After a short taxi, we are ready for take-off.

We passed through a very fast but intense turbulence area.
The service will start just after it.
I took a tomato juice and the sugar option.
The service seems to have change and the plastic is abandonned.

I will ask again salty-sugar snacks to a member of the crew.
We discussed a little bit of the new use of Embraer for Hop from ORY.
He explained me it is part of the strategy of Ben Smith launche one month ago.
I really think the quality of the service has improved on " La Navette"
Just before starting our descent on BOD, the sky became brighter.
We have a beautiful sunset with the eastuary of the Gironde as a landscape.
