Hello and welcome to Luxembourg Airport for this very short flight !
It will be a first for me to rotate by plane in less than two days, in fact I went to the exhibition of trades and aeronautical training that was at the Air and Space Museum in Le Bourget from February 3 to 5.
Not many people in the terminal this morning considering the time (5:30).
The flight is scheduled on time on the FIDS, departure scheduled on time at 7:30 am, the boarding gate is not yet communicated.

Passage of the PIF without difficulty.
Obligatory passage through the Duty Free.
Very nice models planes with a lot of goodies from Luxair.
The door is now indicated : B07
You have to go down with the escalators, to access at the departures level.

Boarding begins on time with business class passengers.

Here is the bird that will transport us today, it is LX-LQB, a Dash Q400 NextGen delivered new to Luxair in December 2015.
The plane will be almost full today, there were only a few seats left in the back of the plane.
The pitch is not great but good for a flight of less than one hour, it will be ok !
The safety instructions are now glued on the front seat.

The sun is starting to rise.
The noise is infernal with the turboprops, so I leave at the back of the cabin after agreement of Chief Flight Attendant, to take several pictures of the sunrise.
A small snack is distributed to us.
Very simple catering, a bottle of water and a small bag of hard cookies.
10 minutes after the start of the service the Chief Flight Attendant return with a bag to throw away our trash.
The sunlight enters the cabin.
Only 20 minutes after the takeoff we already attack our descent.
Gear Down.
Landing on CDG runway 27R at 8:20 am.
Long roll, very long +15 min !
Arrival at gate J18.
Fuselage shot.
A lot of Embraer at this early hour as well as some AF A319 and A220.
A last goodbye to the Q400 lawnmower !!
Go to the exit.
Empty luggage delivery room !
Transfer to 2F with the shuttle.

In conclusion,
Luxembourg Airport : Very fast security check, with a very friendly staff, boarding on time.
Luxair : Correct cabin, clean plane, very simple catering but which has the merit of existing for a flight of one hour.
Luxair crew : Flight Attendant very pleasant and courteous who always had smile, the pilot made several announcements during the flight to keep us informed of the approach to Paris.
Paris CDG airport : Fast disembarkation, transfer with shuttle to Terminal 2F very fast !
Short flight but who still kept his promises with a perfect crew !! As usual big negative point on the infernal lawnmower that makes a terrible noise (I’m obviously talking about the Q400 😉) !

I love flying when it turns out to be such a peaceful experience like this, with no hassle, no crowds, just like a quiet stroll around the airport. Too bad it has to be at this ungodly time of day!
I love your bag!! Are those labels part of the design, or did you take the time to cover it in all those stickers??? It screams "I like to travel!!"
The onboard service looks barely enough to save anyone who left home without breakfast and didn't have anything at the airport! The little, branded bag is a nice detail, anyway!

Yes exactly the seat was very comfortable and soft !
I strongly advise you to take some if you want to be quiet during your flight !

Yes the two planes are very close, by their cabin configuration (2-2) and the location of the toilets and the galleys.
I just checked the flight from Luxembourg to Palma de Mallorca on Flightradar, the flight is operate with an Embraer 190 or a B737-700/800 ! Because for a 1h40 flight it may be difficult with noise to relax on board of a Q400 !!
