Hello everyone, welcome to my new report. This report will cover the trip from Munich to Tunis in Africa. This would also be the first report documented for this route in Flight-Report.

24 hours before my flight, I checked in online and chose my seat on 28A. The system did not support E-Boarding pass in the cell phone. Either print out the boarding pass or get it at the airport.
However, some hours later, I received an Email from Tunisair that my seat was somehow changed to 6A. Then I checked the flight detail again, and the plane was changed from A320ceo to A320neo.
On the day of flight I took the train from Munich center to airport. I arrived at 16:35pm, from the FAID, the check-in counters were located at Modul C.
The check-in counters. My ticket did not include checked baggage, so I just got myself a paper boarding pass. I was also informed that the flight would be delayed by about half an hour.
Since I was too early, I went to McDonald to have a late lunch. While I was waiting, I checked the flight information again, and it showed that the arrival time would be delayed by one hour…
At 17:10pm, although I knew that the flight was delayed, I left and headed back for the security check. It took me a while to get through the immigration as there were quite a lot of people.
Our departure gate at C05. The departure time was still 19:20pm, but we knew that this could never be happened…because the plane was still standing on Tunis airport by that moment…
The paper boarding pass. At the end, the inbound flight departed from Tunis Airport at 17:24pm, with 2 hours and 19 minutes delay.
The plane then arrived at 20:11pm, Finally boarding eventually started at 20:13pm, we were quite surprised because the turnover time was so short that we were wondering if this was enough to unloaded and re-loaded the stuff onto the plane. The shuttle bus brought us to the airbridge at the parking bay 192. Somehow, the plane was not ready to board and we got stuck inside the bridge for about 10 minutes. It was really hot and some people were pissed off.
This would be our plane tonight. A320neo, TS-IMB, delivered to Tunisair in August 2023. The plane is less than one year old.
There were 12 business class seats in the plane.
This was my seat 6A. The third row in economy class. There are three different colors for the seats in economy class, grey, black and red. I got the grey seat.
Seatmap of the plane. (provided by AeroLOPA)
View out of the aircraft. An Oman Air B737-8 Max, A4O-MA parked next to us. She flew back to Muscat at 22:15pm as WY124.
There were two USB port underneath the seat in front of me.
Seat pocket items, including an inflight shopping magazine and a safety card.
At 20:54pm, the cabin light was dimmed for takeoff. The captain announced that the duration of the flight was one hour and forty five minutes. Then the cabin crew performed the safety demonstration in person. At the end, the seat next to me remained empty.
Air bridge was then retracted.
The back of the seat. There was no IFE.
The signal light of seatbelt sign, and also a no electronics sign. Normally it should be a no smoking sign.
Coat hook.
Pushback was commenced at 21:07pm.
Taxing to runway.
We were speeding up before entering the runway, and afterwards we performed a rolling takeoff.
At 21:17pm, we took off from runway.
Not long after takeoff, we banked to the right and headed south.
After the seatbelt sign was off, the flight attendant immediately prepared for the service. At 21:30pm, I received my meal. There was basically one choice. I saw some passengers skipped it.
Cold chicken and some rice.
Tuna potato.
I opted for an orange juice as the complementary drink.
After the meal at 22:10pm, I visited the toilet in the business class behind the cockpit. Usually, the business class would be separated by the curtain, but obviously this was not this flight, and people could walk through the business class freely.
Back to my seat, I continued to read the book on my cell phone. When we were flying at the east of Cagliari, announcement was made at 22:31pm and we started our descend.
Shortly before touchdown.
At local time 21:56pm, we landed on runway 19 of Tunis Carthage airport. The total flight time was 1 hour and 39 minutes. We parked then at gate 54 which was just next to the runway.
Last view of the aircraft.
Total flight route. After we left Munich, we headed south and passed through Austria, Italy and into Tyrrhenian Sea.
Thanks for reading.
Thanks for this exotic report! I think this is the 1st I've seen on the TU A320neo. While the Y cabin looks mostly basic, it's nice that there are USB-A ports. A complimentary hot meal on a 2h flight is also very nice!
