We landed in Istanbul on time and got to gate 303 which is a remote stand gate and theres nothing to do in this area of IST, but is was only a 2 hour connection.

We had a short bus ride to get to our aircraft, TK A321 registered as TC-JRP.
I boarded to JRP through the rear stairs and settled in 28E seat but my seatmate kindly agreed to give to me his seat, 28F.
This aircraft has the new TK Entertainment system, called 'Planet'.
The crew served chocolate to the passengers and then the saftey video was screened in the PTVs. Our neighbour in IST remote stands was another TK A321 TC-JMK.

During the flight I watched a documentary about Namibia and listend to some music.
The crew started the meal service shortly after takeoff, menu could be found in the seat pokcet but that meal that was supposed to be served on this flight wasnt served and another meal was served instead.
The meal was yogurt with olives and tomatoes, eggplant in tomato sauce and cold chicken breast, water, bun and condiments and chocolate mousse. It was pretty good for a 2 hour flight.

We landed in short delay and taxied to a remote stand even though there were only 2 jetbridges in service!

Looks like TK redeemed themselves with a much better experience on this flight than the ARN-IST flight. Seems like the passenger experience is inconsistent on TK, but one thing that seems to always be good is the catering--looks delicious.
