Preface: I went to the Netherlands with a friend whose family is Dutch and had the chance to visit some universities in Rotterdam and Maastricht. We booked the flights one month before the flight date with Transavia, as they are the only airline flying to Eindhoven which is where we would be spending the three nights we would spend in the Netherlands.

We drove to the airport and arrived there at 10 AM, one hour and twenty minutes before our departing flight time.

The airport looked new and clean.

As we had done online check-in the day before, we had some time to spare so we decided to head to the Panorama Terrace.
There was only a Ryanair Boeing 737-800 bound for Alicante in the ramp.

After around half an hour, we went through security which was a breeze because there weren't many people.

I bought some Dutch cheese at the duty-free and then went to our gate.

There are no fingers in Eindhoven Airport so we had to walk to our plane.

We landed at 1 PM local time, 20 minutes ahead of schedule. Again well-done Transavia! Excellent on-time performance!

Transavia is not a bad option to fly if the price is good. You can choose your seats with no extra cost 24 hours before the departing flight time by checking-in online which is always good. Their legroom and pitch aren't too bad unless you are very tall and they offer a wide variety of drinks, snacks, and sandwiches which I didn't try but weren't as expensive as on other LCC. Both flights landed ahead of schedule so nothing to say with regard to on-time performance.
