This report is about my first flight with Ryanair which covers my little trip to Lisbon.
It was my first time in Lisbon and I loved it!I had a really good time there! Here is a pic of one of the most famous monuments in Lisbon - "Torre de Belém"
But..The day after…It was time to fly…I woke up around 5am and a taxi driver drove me to the Airport Terminal 2 (The Low Cost Airlines Terminal).
Security , and boarding were very efficient and in around half an hour since I got there , I was onboard.
The aircraft was a 737-800 with the new Boeing Sky Interior.
As you can see, the flight was operated by EI-FOR, which was delivered 3 months ago (from the date of the flight)
Another fuselage pic
Onboard. It was also my first time with the Sky Interior and I must say it was an awesome experience!!
We were at the very last row of the aircraft , which was good as we boarded and de-boarded very fast.
My seat (sorry for the quality)
Legroom was very good (for a low cost carrier)
Wingview.
The re-designed over-head panel
Passengers boarding and getting ready
An EasyJet A319 arriving the gate next to us
We pushed - back and the briefing was done, with the cabin prepared to fly
Liftoff.40 minutes to OPO.We took off 20 minutes delayed…
Cabin just after takeoff
We rapidly reached our cruising altitude , where the fasten seatbelt sign came off
This was the mood lighting chosen by the crew to the whole flight
We flew for a little bit over the beautiful Portugal and we were descending..
It was a quite turbulent and cloudy approach..
After passing through clouds, land was already visible.
Closer to landing , when I shot this pic , the captain announced "Cabin Crew 10 minutes to landing"
The lighting chosen to landing
"Cabin crew prepare to arrival"
And….Touchdown..It was a very ungently Landing!
We taxied for a little bit and we were in our gate.
Ryanair tail and sharklet , 2 essential items of the aircraft ;-)
Arrival at OPO.
Thanks for sharing your FR. I think Ryan's cabin looks so clean, airy and warm
