After connecting from Glasgow, I had quite a few hours to wait until the flight to Dubai. Caught up with a friend at the airport and spent some time in the KLM Crown Lounge.

Amsterdam - Dubai
Boeing 777-200ER, PH-BQM, 'Machu Picchu'
Seat 17K - Economy
Boarding commenced on time from the G gates - first time departing from this pier. It was clear the flight wouldn't be full today.
PH-BQM stripped of her crown titles being brought onto stand.
Views during boarding.
Pushback was delayed around 20 minutes due to 'busy airways on the way to Dubai' and we were on our way. Pushing back past the queen and the 787.
Some views during takeoff from runway 36C. Seemed a rather short takeoff with some sunning views during our windy departure. Here's a link to my youtube video of the takeoff and some inflight pictures
Some cashews, white wine and water not long after departure.
Views of the cabin. I was lucky that the other two seats remained empty on this 10 across 777.
As usual. the KLM crew were all interacting with passengers, very friendly and helpful. Lunch was sweet & sour chicken, tropical salad, profiteroles, roll, butter and cheese / crackers. Tasted great.
Most of the route was clouded so not much views below but hardly any turbulence at all.
Pre arrival snack, chicken tikka pastry, was OK.
On approach for Dubai.

Thanks Loukas, I do enjoy the wine on KLM and had to omit the picture of the empty bottles I had accumulated prior to arrival Haha! I don't drink alcohol often tho :)

You get the exact same dessert on this route as I had on AMS-DEL a few months ago! I absolutely adored it! :D
Hey jish.b thanks, I loved the view from 17K, had 2 windows to choose from. The food with KLM is always a favourite, especially that dessert!

I'm glad you had two empty seats next to you in this 10-abreast configuration.
Catering looks good on this flight, KLM does a good job on the presentation of meals in Y compared to LH.

KL does offer a better food service than EK with a full meal and a real snack.
I really like the new interiors on the 777.
Thanks KL651, it's been a while since I travelled with EK but KL and AF even tend to feed us well. Much better seat and TVs even if it is 10 across now.
