Hi and welcome to this Flight-Report of Ryanair flight FR9772 from London Stansted to Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden airport :)
After spending 3 great days in London it was time to get home again. As on the outbound flight, we chose Ryanair again - there is also no other choice from London to FKB airport anyway ;)
You can see my FR of the outbound flight here: FR9773 FKB-STN
Stansted Express was our choice for getting to the airport again - this service was on time and comfy for the length of the ride (47 minutes).
Baggage drop and the security checks went pretty fast - but we still had to wait one hour until the gate for our flight was announced
…so we had enough time to check out the food possibilities ;)
We just arrived at our gate and the boarding started already…not bad! This turned out not be our aircraft…
A Pegasus 737-800 was also here - it should soon leave Stansted towards Istanbul.
EI-FIL is our aircraft for today, only two years old.
Thanks to Priority Boarding the cabin was nearly empty as we entered from the back door. Unfortunately EI-FIL was still delivered with the old interior. My first touch with the new Ryanair interior has to wait…
Refueling was just completed as we entered the Boeing
While taxiing to the runway the Pegasus 737 also began its journey
Looks as we have to wait - first the Cargolux 747, then the fellow bird ;)
…the bizjet area of STN I suppose…
And soon we say goodbye to english soil…
Okay, the task on the outbound flight (Pepsi and Crisps) was a bit too easy…so lets step up one level: I asked for Ice-Tea…
…and they failed, but it seems they had tons of pepsi on board. That's okay then ;)
…unlike EI-DCN on the outbound flight, EI-FIL had no advertising above the security label.
Some time after starting the descending to FKB the rhine came in sight
This must be the go-cart racetrack at Urloffen (a small village near Offenburg, south of FKB airport)
Today we got a better view to the black forest :)
The landing was pretty standard again, i made a video of it (hope it works):
Soon we arrived at our gate (the same as on the outbound flight). Those two freight Saab 340 were still standing on the same spot as wednesday…or maybe again.
And soon after we collected our bags the baggage reclaim area became nearly empty…just another sign for a small airport like FKB ;)
Fortunately my car still knew me and so we left FKB for a uncertain time…maybe this year already to check out the Eurowings connection to Hamburg :)
What camera is it?
Well, it's only my smartphone camera to be honest (Sony Xperia Z5 Compact)
