It was time to return to Singapore. Since it was red-eye flight, didn't see much of the outside, was still dark on arrival in Singapore.
Only few flights leaving at the time, 2 EK's to Dubai, Turkish to Istanbul and SQ to Singapore and few domestic flights. The Shanghai airport was deserted.
Had arrived early to the airport and the check-in counter wasn't open.

Since the check-in wasn't open, had a walk around. Went upstairs to the food court, most shops were closing.

Boarding was called soon. Passport and boarding cards was checked by ground staff.
Once on board, were provided with hot towel. Safety instruction were carried out. Headphones provided.

I didn't watch any programs on the IFE. After meal it was rest time, the cabin lights were switched off.

Descend begins
Cabin came back to life, as the flight neared Singapore. Crew came with immigration forms for passengers entering Singapore. Collected the headphones.
Landing was smooth, did not take the landing as the glass was scratched and it was dark to see anything outside.

Since this was among the first arriving flights, most shops were closed.

Took 2 mins to finish immigration, baggage came in another 5 mins. Out of terminal in 15 mins to head for Terminal 1 for another flight.

Conclusion
Singapore Airlines provided consistent service, being a red-eye flight. Service was limited to meal and customer request, Drinks and water was supplied at night. Didn't watch have any entertainment as I wanted to rest.
Shanghai Pudong was not busy as peak had passed, immigration, security didn't take very long.
Singapore Changi was quick immigration as I didn't require visa.
