We got to Phuket International Airport and had to go through a baggage scan before entering the ticketing area then had to go through another security check before the gates. The gates were rather cramped I think due to construction that was going on.
An A330-300 again was our aircraft on this short hop to Bangkok.
Here is the aircraft that would be taking us back to BKK kicking off our slow journey back home.
The A330 is in 2-4-2 and for this segment I'd be seated in 52F which isn't a middle seat but sort of.
One thing that was great was that I didn't have to share the armrest with the anyone in the middle of the 4 seats.
The IFE did work on this flight better than our outbound segment to HKT.
Again, there was a quick snack served on this flight. This time it is a chiceken rica rica stromboli sandwich. It was alright, there were chunks of lemongrass in it. The brownie was soft and moist. THe only thing I wasn't a fan of was no utensils which meant using your hands.
One thing I appreciated was the fact that I saw the flight attendant cleaning the restroom mid way through the 70-minute flight which was appreciated.
