Every year we go on an annual trip to Asia, this time we decided to visit family in Taipei before returning to Thailand. We were planning on heading to Bali but due to the volcanic activity we redirected to Phuket/Ko Phi Phi.

TG832 is the outbound flight to Taipei Taoyuan International Airport on one of their two new 787-9s.
Boarding was called and we underestimated the amount of time it would take to get to our gate.
I always think that BKK is a beautiful airport… this picture proves it.
We were wondering why there was no one at the gate and realized that it was at a remote stand.
After a short shuttle ride we were at our remote stand. I managed to get some great pictures on the tarmac.
I also managed to snap pictures of a departing Thai 747 and an A380 at another remote stand.
Upon entering the plane I noticed a microwave which I didn't realize they had.
The beautiful dividers between business and the galley with economy behind it… I wish US airlines would do that.
A view of the reverse herringbone seats in a 1-2-1 configuration.
Looking back to economy which had a pretty light load.
A view of the cabin lights at take off.
Got to love the Vueve champagne served onboard… sadly it was a bit warm.
I forgot to take a picture of the menu and options but I selected the sticky rice with prawns wrapped in a lotus leaf. It was rather disappointing, I can't recall what else was on offer. One thing I appreciated was the fact that they served the entree with real chilis and spices.
After roughly 3.5 hours we landed in Taipei.
