Day of the Flight:
I had to stay in Wroclaw till Monday but some bad events in my family forced me to change my flight as fast as I can. There weren't flights from Wroclaw to Tel Aviv on sunday and I've started to search direct flights from another cities nearby Wroclaw with direct flights to Israel like Prague, Katowice, Poznan, Krakow, Gdansk Warsaw and even Berlin. The flights were pretty expensive as it was only day before except Wizz Air flight from Katowice (142$ on sunday, A321) and Gdansk with LOT (77$ on sunday, B738). Without and thoughts I ordered the flight from Gdansk with choosing a seat for free . The flights seemed to be pretty full. I arrived from Wroclaw to Gdansk by saturday night on a train and the journey took around 5 hours and 40 minutes without wifi or power outlet. Usually I could order a Ryanair flight for around 42$ but I hadn't think abouth it at the same moment.
After eating dinner at Hard Rock Cafe at the city center with a temperature of -14 celsius and snow I've reached Gdansk Airport about 0:30AM while the flight depart time should be 5:35AM. I know that it's pretty long time but it's better than waiting at the city without a hotel resveration. This is the view of the new terminal of Gdansk Airport:
My flight is the first to depart today with many other flights at the early morning hours. Wizz Air and Ryanair have the most flight to the airport:
This is the check-in area view:
Duty free area, it's pretty nice for a medium size airport like GDN:
Boarding will start soon from the non-schengen area which is the old terminal. Don't worry and old and the new terminals are connected:
KLM Embarer E-175 will depart soon to Amsterdam (AMS), Netherlands:
Wizz Air A320 will depart to Dortmund (DTM), Germany and the A321 will depart to Malmo (MMX), Sweden. You can also see my plane to Tel Aviv:
Ryanair Boeing 737-800 will depart to Eilat - Ovda (VDA), Israel:
LOT vs Ryanair for 4 hours flight to TLV, which airline will you choose?

Boarding was on time and the plane parked close to the terminal. As a result I could take some nice photos:

It's so cold outside, around minus 15 celsius degrees!!!!

I've slept for 1:30 hours. The service was like on TLV-WRO's sector: Mineral water and a snack with option to buy on board. Nothing special.

Thanks for this report,
GDN was well renovated for Euro 2012 and Poland is full of fresh new airport.
Concerning LO, i think BoB is a suitable solution for short flights but a bit annoying for such flights like 3 hours long.
I wish you a great weekend
Nice report! It looks like you had a good flight - and great to get on a new 737-800 for this flight. I'm surprised though that LOT doesn't serve anything more substantial for a flight of this length - 4 hours 15 minutes is a pretty long flight!
Thank you for sharing.
