Hello everyone. This is the third part of the trip to Asia. This report will cover the flight from Hong Kong to Nagoya Chubu International Airport. In December 2017, I used the Cathay Pacific Airways miles to redeem a return ticket from Hong Kong to Nagoya. In the morning, I woke up at 6:00am and instantly I got a message from Cathay Pacific Airways that our flight will be delayed until 11:30am. As I had more time, so I decided to take the bus to the airport.

Eventually I arrived the airport at 9:30am, exactly two hours before the schedule departure time. We checked our baggage and headed air-side.
Since I am no longer the Marco Polo silver member, I was not able to enter Cathay Pacific Lounges anymore. I went to a food court near gate 40 to 80 and had the breakfast there.
While we were having the breakfast, the FIDS showed that our flight was assigned to gate 2, so we immediately made our way to the gate but the plane was not there yet.
At 10:55am, my ride arrived at gate. Cathay Pacific A330-300, B-HLN, arriving from Manila as CX912. The plane delivered to Cathay Pacific Airways in February 2001 so it is already 17 years old. This plane belongs to the Cathay Pacific's short haul fleet with 317 seats (J24/Y293), only the business class and economy class are available in this configuration. Currently, there are a total of 10 planes in this configuration.
Boarding started at 11:35am.
After entering the cabin, I turned left into the front section of the economy class. This was my seat 40K. The seats were fitted with fixed-shell seats which were introduced in 2007. My seat is located on the second row of the economy class.
Welcome screen of the PTV. It looked a bit outdated since the resolution of the screen was not high. There was a remote control under the screen which I found it quite useful.
The front section of the economy class. The economy class is in 2-4-2 seat configuration.
View from my seat.
Pushback commenced at 11:57am. It did not take much time to reach the runway.
After the departure of the SAS A340, it was our turn to take-off.
We took off from RWY25L at 12:19pm
minutes after take-off. Weather was quite good.
Our plane flew through the south of Hong Kong and continued towards the east.
Soon after take off, I began to browse the film directory and end up with a Japanese film. The flight attendant began to distributed the landing card.
Peanuts and drinks were served and I opted for an orange juice. As you can see, the electrical socket was installed behind the tray table, if you want to use the socket, you need to lower your table.
Taiwan coastline was observable.
I guess this is Taichung Airport. Correct me if I am wrong.
Lunch was served at 13:30pm. I opted for the beef option with white wine and it was quite tasty.
Häagen-Dazs was provided and I was given the summer berries and cream taste.
Demonstration of the cup holder.
The front section of the economy class.
At 14:53pm, announcement from the cockpit informing that 30 minutes until landing. 10 minutes late I took the last chance to visit the toilet. While I was in the toilet, the seatbelt sign was turned on again.
Starting the descend into Nagoya Chubu International airport.
Finally we landed at 16:36pm. The weather was not good in Nagoya. Lastly our plane parked at gate 17 of the international terminal. Total flight time was 3 hours and 17 minutes.
It was lucky that it did not take me a long time to get through the immigration.
Our hotel was located at Nagoya station, so we took the Meitetsu and arrived in 30 minutes.

Hi NGD16, thanks for a nice report on CX Y! It looks like you missed adding the grades; they're all showing 5/10. Just wanted to point to let you know. Thanks!
Thanks for the comment. I think I forgot the gradings. Thanks for reminding me.
