Hello everybody, welcome to the 5th part of the trip to Asia. This report will cover the domestic flight from Fukuoka to Nagoya. Spending three days in the Kyushu area, I flew back to Nagoya to catch the connecting flight back to Hong Kong.

After I left the Hotel, I took a bus to Hakata station. From there I took the Fukuoka Kuko Line metro to the airport. It was extremely convenient as the airport is just two stations away.

We arrived the airport at 9:42am. ANA's checkin counters are located at the first floor of domestic terminal. At first we proceeded to the domestic flight counter, but once we showed the international ticket to Hong Kong, the staff asked us to go to the neighboring international connecting flights counters. We were really surprised that our luggages can be delivered directly to Hong Kong, despite ANA and Cathay are not in the same alliance.

Boarding pass was given not only for this domestic flight to Nagoya, but also the connecting flight to Hong Kong. The BP showed that my flight will be departing from gate 4. Actually this flight was operated by ANA's subsidiary ANA Wings.

Then I quickly visited the observation deck on the 4th floor for a while.

Japan Airlines B777-200, JA009D was departing to Tokyo Haneda as JL308

All Nippon Airways B787-9 domestic version, JA830A arrived from Tokyo Haneda as NH250. Nice to see you again this year!

A Fuji Dream Airlines E175, JA05FJ was departing to Matsumoto as JH202.

ANA B737-500, JA356K was preparing for its flight to Miyako as NH1877.
JAL B777-200, JA008D was also preparing for its flight to Tokyo Haneda as JL310

We spent a very short time on the observation deck as there was less than one hour to the official departure time. We went down to the security check North on the 2nd floor .

Passing through the security check, again the security certificate was issued. After that, we brought some sandwich for breakfast at the nearby kiosk.

Gate 4 to Nagoya Chubu International Airport. This flight was also codeshare with Singapore Airlines(SQ5958) and Air China(CA6747). When I arrived at the gate, it was announced that due to late arrival of the aircraft, departure time will be delayed to 11:15am.

The waiting area next to gate 4.

At 10:47am our plane finally showed up at gate. JA04AN, Boeing 737-700, delivered to All Nippon Airways in 2006. This plane also brought me to Hakodate from Osaka Kansai five years ago.

Boarding was commenced at 11:06am. Again the boarding information sheet was issued.

Walking down the jet bridge.

The seatmap of ANA B737-700. There are a total of 120 seats with 8 for premium class and 112 for economy class.

My seat 13A, again it was one row behind the emergency exit.

The cabin view. ANA Theme song "Another Sky" was played as usual during the whole boarding phase.

Wing view from my seat. Parked next to us was the Jetstar Japan, JA08JJ ready to depart to Tokyo Narita as GK504.

Typical 737NG overhead panel.

As the crew was checking the cabin, I took the chance to pass my logbook to her. Soon she was coming back and asked me to stay behind after landing and she will give back the logbook to me. Pushback eventually started at 11:22am.

Ground crew was waving goodbye to us.

Goodbye Fukuoka!

The traffic was a quite busy, and we had to wait some time for our turn to take off.

Eventually we took off at 11:44am from RWY34.

Right after departure, our plane immediately made a 180degree turn.

At 11:56am, the seatbelt sign was off and I began to eat the breakfast that I brought beforehand. The overhead monitors were also lowered.

Before the flight I checked the weather condition, it was pretty sunny in Fukuoka but Nagoya was reported to be cloudy throughout the day. As the time passed by, the cloud was gradually building up below us.

At 12:04pm, I got my coffee as the complementary drink.

The overhead monitors were showing a ANA original program called めし友図鑑.

Seat pocket items. Besides the inflight magazine and the duty free catalog, there was another one called service information which also introduced the free WiFi service starting from first of April. Unfortunately, WiFi was not provided for the Boeing 737-700.

At 12:24, announcement from cockpit that we had commenced the descend into Chubu International Airport.

Entering Ise Bay

Right above the runway.

At 12:43pm, we touchdown on RWY36. Total flight time was 59 minutes.

As expected the weather in NGO was not good.

Reached our parking position at gate 9 of domestic terminal.

As the passengers starting to disembark, the crew reached me and returned the logbook to me. I was so surprised that she gave me lot of souvenirs.

Take a look of my seat again. We had a little chat afterwards and I was really appreciated with their service.

Since I had at least two hours until the next boarding, I decided to wander around the airport.
