Flight Review AF1423 from Munich to Paris
Welcome everyone.
With some delay I wanna share my trip to Seoul, South Korea at the beginning of June in 2018.
It was my second time this year in Seoul … but after I have been there in January with bloody cold -25°C, this time it was almost 55°C hotter as I had a full week with glorious sunshine and temperatuers up to 30°C.

Air Fance offerd some great prices for flights to Seoul in May / June.
With just 450€ to get from MUC to ICN and back ….it was absolutely no question to book as soon as possible.
As Air France and Korean Air are partners of SKY Team, I had the oportunity to explore Korean Air's A380 on my return flight from ICN to CDG.
On the way from CDG to ICN with Air France I had a B777-300ER.
But now first of all lets start with my short hop from Munich to Paris.
Pre Flight @ MUC
May 31st was a national holiday in Germany, so the highway was empty and it took me just 40min get to the Airport.
I left quite early, at around 6:30 am as departure for my flight to Paris was scheduled for 09:40 am.
Check-in and security checks took about 20min as there were almost no people so early.
After that I spend watching the activities on the runway and followed the inbound flight from CDG to MUC.
There was not too much action going on, but it was great to see a LH A380 here in MUC.
LH brought a few A380 from Frankfurt to Munich to replace their A340-300 / A340-600.
The A380 is used by LH on different routs, for example to Beijing, Singapore and San Francisco.
Flight AF1423
My ride for todays flight - Air France A320 (F-HEPB).
Luckily I got a window seat as I did not want to spend 10€ for seat reservation on a 1 hour flight.
My seat for the flight to CDG was 26A.
View from my seat …. finally a lot more aircrafts at Terminal 1.
Great lineup seen during push-back.
Terminal 2 impressed as well. ;)
Weather was amazing that day - early summer days in Europe!
After about half an hour into the flight, snacks and drinks were served to everyone.
It was just a plain bread.
Weather in France was also very good.
And landing in CDG.
The lineup was impressive - I don't know how many B777 in total belong to Air France … but it was amazing to see that!
Great to see, that BA and AF show one of their CONCORDE models at their home base airports in LHR and CDG.
Some spotting of my favourite aircraft while taxiing was going on.
It took about 15min to get to the gate after touchdown.
Post Flight @ CDG
After exiting the A320 which parked at the F-Gates in CDG, I had to take the terminal bus to get to the international gates.
My flight departed from the M area.
The shuttle passed the gates quite closely so some great spotting was possible.
CDG looks quite impressive - the Terminal cannot be too old, as everything looks quite new and in a good shape.
M-Area for international flights - on that day most of the flights in that area were scheduled to the USA.
Thanks for this FR.
Interesting of AF is so cheap from Germany and LH so cheap from France.
The bread you got is Brioche which is a soft sweet bread which normally goes with butter and jam.
Terminal M is the most recent one, open 4 years ago only.
Well some butter or jam would have been definitely good with the Brioche. :)
