Introduction

Transit
I had transit time of 6 hrs as the Sydney flight was delayed by an hour. I was happy with less transit time.
SkyTrain
Mumbai flight was departing from Terminal 2. Took SkyTrain from Terminal 3 to Terminal 2.

Terminal 2 in the early hours of morning, activities were winding down, with shops closing. View of the air-side from waiting area.
A Tiger Airways flight was pushback, Singapore Airlines 9V-SYL B777-300 in special livery.
TR taxi to runway.
Resting
Found chair to sleep while getting my devices charged. Rested for 3 hrs as boarding time was nearing. Got freshened.
Walking to gate
Shops had just started to open, I had to buy whisky bottles. Got the bottles and onward to gate.
Gate F30
Mumbai flight was departing from gate F30. After completing security at the gate, had boarding pass scanned, passport checked and allowed in the waiting area. After a short wait, boarding was called by seat numbers.

As I was seated in seat 56A, was able to board first.
Pushback and Taxi
After door closed, cold towel was distributed. Safety demonstration was displayed on the personal screen. Pushback commenced on time.
Had a long taxi to runway.

Masala thosai, vada with minced chicken. No alcoholic beverage in the morning flight. Selected orange juice for drink.

I didn't check the entertainment.Wanted to rest as I was going to have a busy day after arrival.

Sahyadri mountains
Once over the state of Maharashtra, where Mumbai is located. flew over the western ghats also known as Sahyadri is a mountain range.
Approaching Mumbai
Being a day flight with few arrivals, Descend commenced, Approach was straight to align with the runway 27.
Flew over the Vashi Creek and then over the Eastern Suburbs of Ghatkopar
and Kurla.

Everyone was seated as plane docked to the gate. Disembarkation commenced shortly.

Immigration queue was short as mornings being off-peak for international flights. Took about 10 mins to clear immigration. Passport was stamped and immigration form was handed back. The stamped form was handed to police just before entering the duty free area.
Baggage collection
Baggage took about 15 mins to arrive.
Customs
As not many flights arrive around the time, customs queue was short. Passed through customs without issues as I wasn't carrying any dutiable item.

After exiting the terminal, was picked and on my way home.
