Welcome to my Flight Report [previous report : Review of Jetstar Asia Airways flight Surabaya → Singapore in Economy]. In this report, I want to share with you about my trip back to Surabaya after spending a week in Singapore with Jetstar Asia. 24 hours before my flight, I went to Changi Airport to collect my boarding pass. I tried the FAST check-in machine, but the machine said that my flight will ready for check-in at 23:10 (12 hours before the scheduled departure time), so I decided to stay at Village Hotel Changi and come back again to Changi Airport to collect my boarding pass.
When I walked through the terminal 1 arrival hall and JEWEL, I saw the early check-in counter. I asked the staff if my flight eligible for the early check-in service at Changi Airport and the staff said that Jetstar cannot use the early check-in facility at Changi Airport, so I continued my walk to the coach bay to board my shuttle bus.

Later at night, I came back to Changi Airport to collect my boarding pass. I arrived at around 22:00, so I went to JEWEL to look the rain vortex and wait for the time there.

At 23:15, I went to the FAST Check-In machine at Changi Airport Terminal 1 Departre Hall. At the end of the check-in process after I scanned my boarding pass through the machine, it said that error encountered and I must go to the check-in kiosk/assistance kiosk. I went there and the staff checked-in me with my passport scanned. After that, the staff gave me my boarding pass and cabin baggage tag. After check-in completed, I immediately went back to the coach bay to board the last shuttle bus (12 midnight) to Village Hotel Changi.
The next morning, I woke up at 07:00, took a shower for a while, and checked-out at 08:00 to catch the shuttle bus to Changi Airport.
After 30 minutes ride, I arrived at Changi Airport and directly proceeded to inside the terminal because I already got my boarding pass. Because it still 8:30 (2 hours before the scheduled boarding time), I decided to walk around. I went to Terminal 3 to buy Fragrance Bak Kwa with the Changi Airport Reward Voucher given by Jetstar Asia.

Then, I tried the skytrain from terminal 3 to terminal 2 which ran through inside JEWEL to see the rain vortex from the train.
After took some pictures of the rain vortex, I went back to Terminal 1 and waited for my flight.
At 10:30, I decided to go to my boarding gate at Gate D47.
I checked the screen and it said boarding for my flight status. I went inside the gate to board my plane.
Security check and boarding process was smooth. When I gave my boarding pass at the boarding gate, the staff told me to put my luggage at the aerobridge because they would put it on the airplane cargo compartment for free. Maybe it was an anticipation for overloaded cabin compartment.

After my plane made a complete stop at Gate 8, PK-AXF was pushed back from Gate 7 for departure to Kuala Lumpur.

After cleared the immigration, I waited for my luggage for 5 minutes, then I went to the taxi counter and used Blue Bird Taxi (metered taxi) to go home.
