PRE-Oasis American Airlines Boeing b737-800 Main cabin

Welcome to my flight-report!
Good morning from Buckhead, Atlanta, where I stayed for the past 2 nights.
Today's flight will be on a "good" American Airlines 737-800NG before the infamous Oasis project…

Check-in was done on the American Airlines APP, and I got my digital boarding pass right away.

After a quick MARTA ride on the red line, I got through security in under 10 minutes. The process was as smooth as you can imagine in an American airport. Now let's go check out ATL, the busiest airport in the world by passenger traffic!

First stop: The automatic people mover.

I prefer walking though.

Delta does indeed have a strong presence here.

N357DN, a 0.6 year old Airbus A321.
I mean, I could've taken Delta on the way back home, but I wanted to try AA.

Crowded gate area as usual.

N968NN, a 4 year old Boeing B737-823

Boarding

Yup, I'm on the right plane.

Look at that sky interior

Passing by first class, I am flying in Economy today per usual.

Window seat today.

Since we're so close to the runway, taxi only took 2 minutes.

Take-off

Turning west after take-off

Beautiful day to fly today (excluding the time when we flew over Texas)

I love this seat!!! IT'S LIKE FLYING ON AN INTERNATIONAL WIDEBODY!!! WHY ON EARTH WOULD AMERICAN GET RID OF THESE???

This seat features a 9 inch high def personal TV too! Guess what show I am watching?

Bring your own lunch.

Beautiful weather.

First (and only) snack service

Don't judge. I am one of those people who ask for an entire can :)

Flying over Texas

After 30 minutes of turbulence…

Plenty of movies and TV shows available

Loving today's view. This is one of the best domestic flights I have ever had.

An hour left to go.

Second and last drink service. I had apple juice.

Going to the lavatory.

Bathroom tour. It was infinitely better than the oasis lavatory.

Literally everyone is using their PTV… Why the hell would AA remove these???

Ontario, CA

On final

Back home after a weekend getaway

Taxiing to Terminal 4

Parked at gate 41

Ending this flight report with a picture of the cockpit. Wow they have way more than 30 inch of seat pitch!
