Welcome back!
This report is covering leg 4 of 4 of a trip down to Orlando this past April. Originating in Toronto, my booking took me through Charlotte. Today's VERY SHORT report highlights the service between CLT and YYZ. AA operates a massive operation out of Charlotte, post merger. The hub has been seeing growth between CLT and Europe and also the Caribbean. Having travelled through this gateway multiple times, the increase of passengers is quite evident.
Todays flight was delayed by almost 3 hours and as a result AA's booking system automatically rebooked me on later flights. Initially, checkin crew bumped me out of First class into economy but I REFUSED to take that flight. Luckily, the crew at the gate found me a seat.
What I thought would be a tight connection turned in to an almost sleep over in CLT. Due to the massive amount of delays, most departing flights left later than scheduled in order for incoming passengers to make their connections. Concourse E was packed, but passenger traffic got lighter and flights boarded.

As it was dark outside and nothing to look forward to service wise I took a nap and woke up in YYZ.

Due to the delay, I was rebooked onto the last CLT-YYZ flight for the night. Kudos to the AA team for making sure I get to my destination on the same day. As this flight was redeye there was not much activity. It was quick and quiet for the most part.
