Having spent sometime in Miami for Carnival, it was time to head back up to the cold north. AA had scheduled their 777s between CLT and MIA in recent times so I couldn't resist.
MIA is usually bustling in the early to mid morning as most of the Latin America/Caribbean flights depart in that time period. As a result, the D & E concourses were quite busy.

An AA 788 preparing for departure to Port-Au-Prince, Haiti.

Aircraft: Boeing 777-223ER
Registration: N760AN
Age: 20.3 Years
Layout: C37W24Y212
Unfortunately our B777-200 registered, N760AN wasn't viewable from the gate. This was the best snap I got as I boarded the aircraft.

Not the best window view, but its a window seat at least.

Fortunately, AA's 777s are fitted with IFE, so I used the in-flight map for some entertainment on this short flight up to Charlotte.

Push back at the Trent 800s start up.

A quick taxi down to RWY 8. UPS's small operation can be found on the north side of MIA.

About 25 minutes out from CLT, we began our descent. Much of the approach was in the clouds.

Touchdown on RWY 36L.

N760AN on deplaning. It headed back to MIA soon after arrival.

CLT was just as bustling as MIA, a great sign for the industry.

Our flight's routing between MIA-CLT.

Nice to get the 777 on this hub-to-hub route! Certainly much better than getting an LUS A320/321.
I like the location of the AC power outlet right there in the seat back. It's a much more convenient location than under the seat where one either has to be a contortionist to access it, or has to fumble around under one's legs, haha.
Thanks for sharing!
Hey KévinDC, you're right, I couldn't pass up on the Boeing 777 option. The location was also ideal as I preferred AC access in a centralised location compared to by my legs. Thanks for reading again!
