Introduction
This report is from a holiday trip in Sept 2012. After we arrived in Singapore previous day. see report: Scoot 9V-OTA TZ1 Sydney - Singapore
As Singapore offers the best hub in South East Asia. We spent a night in Singapore,
As me and a friend got up early in the morning at 6.30 am due to time difference.
We met up in the lobby and as my friend hadn't visited Singapore before, we decided to visit city while others were sleeping.
Had breakfast before hailing a taxi.

After spending few hours in Orchard road,it was 10 am. We took a taxi to the hotel. Got ready and took a taxi to Terminal 1.

Check-in did not take long as we were travelling light.
With still time on hand, headed for the viewing gallery.

Immigration
As it was departure time soon,
We headed for immigration as happens with group of men travelling togather, We were asked to put out handbags in the x-ray machine before being asked to proceed for immigration. Immigration took 2 mins and headed inside the departure area.

As we had time to spare, waited near the window and saw air side action.

As we were about to head for the gate, went to the toilet with a view to freshen up before departure.

Buy on Board service commenced on attaining cruising altitude. We got some drinks on this flight, Crew service was very good. I wanted to buy the A320 model as the model was not available on board, the crew gave me a Air Asia towel .

As flight approached Phuket, rain clouds began to appear. Announcement was made in three languages - English, Thai and Chinese before approach began

After reaching immigration, we got the visa on arrival. Queue was not long at the immigration.
We headed out through the green channel as we had nothing to declare.
Took a taxi to hotel in Patong Beach.
