Hi guys. Welcome to my next report on Flight-Report. Today, I will fly with Thai AirAsia from Can Tho to Bangkok - Don Mueang on Airbus A320. But first, please check out my trip report about this flight on YouTube. This video is more detailed than the script version on Flight-Report and has more special things there, so I hope you guys will check out, like the video and support to my channel by subscribe Vinavia on YouTube :D
And here is the script report. Hope you guys will enjoy :D
Today's flight would start at Can Tho International Airport, Can Tho.

Let's go inside the terminal.

Departure hall of the terminal

Today, I would fly on flight FD437 to Bangkok - Don Mueang, and the estimated departure time would be 1.25 pm.

Then I headed to the check-in area for international flights.

After clearing immigration & security check, I finally got into airside.

Interestingly, as you see, there are only a food stall and a small souvenir shop in this airside.

Can Tho Airport only receives a small number of international flights, therefore the international airside is small and nothing much inside compared to the domestic one. Fun fact: This flight was actually the only international flight the airport received and operated that day :D

But still, I'm impressed with how clean and modern this place was.

Aircraft for this flight had just arrived from Bangkok. This Airbus A320 has the registration of HS-ABP, and it was 9.9 years old.

Here was the departure gate of this flight: gate 3.

Boarding

Here was my seat for this flight: seat 10F.

Legroom was quite tight, especially when stretching your legs.

About 15 minutes after boarding, the aircraft started to pushback and taxied to the runway.

Take-off

5 minutes after take-off, buy-on-board services were started.

And here was my pre-ordered meal, or drink lol :D

I had a bottle of boba Thai milk tea and it came with a cup of ice.

And I got a free bottle of water when pre-ordering the food online.

It cannot go wrong with boba or bubble tea. It's sweet, it's refreshing, and it's fun to chew the tapioca pearls :D

View from my window, and cabin view from my seat during the flight.

In the seat pocket, I had: a sickness bag, a safety card, some advertisement cards, a menu, and two inflight magazines of Thai AirAsia named Travel 360: one in Thai and another one in English.

Inside the menu, there were so many choices of hot meals, snacks, and drinks to buy, which is impressive, and they all seem tasty just by looking. Also we cannot forget a large number of souvenirs to buy onboard.

After over an hour in the air, the aircraft started to descend and prepared for landing.

And the views of Thailand started to appear outside the window.

My journey had ended at Terminal 1, Don Mueang International Airport, Bangkok. Thank you for reading and watching, and see you in the next report :D

Hi Vinavia, Beautiful report as always!
I've always found Air Asia to have super tight legroom compared to other carriers, even though they have a pretty standard LCC density. I think it's because their seats are so thick. On the one hand more padding makes more comfortable seats, but it's the only airline I've been on where I've touched the seats in front with my knees and I'm average height 1m78.
My favourite thing about Air Asia is good buy-on-board food and drinks and very decent prices.
Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much for reading this report. I understand you. I hope that the legroom problem will be solved with their new seat design onboard A320/A321neos. And the BoB services, hard to complain about it lol ?
Thank you for sharing this trip report! The terminal at VCA looks so good! Efficient, functional, modern. Cannot go wrong with boba tea either :D
Thank you for your comment. I can say that VCA is one of the best design airports in Vietnam. And the boba, you are totally right! ?
