Hello everyone and welcome to this report in continuation from Salvador de Bahia.
Salvador is really a beautiful town, but what really surprised me was also the island known as Mauro de St Paulo.
I booked these tickets seperately from the open jaw tickets with Air Europa.
Azul isn't part of any alliances so I didn't bother claiming miles for this flight.
I was pleasantely surprised by Azul, it was offering flight that were really cheap to reach manaus. I thinkit was cheap because:
A. It was in the middle of the night (3AM)
B. There was a stop a Belo Horizonte, one of the airline's hubs.
The A320 cabin of Azul of 176 seats, which isnt't that bad at all for a low-cost airline…
We woke up super early to wait downstairs for a taxi… at 2am!
Our neighbour told us at the time there was always a lot of taxi at night, and we were scared a little bit for the first 20 min not seeing any taxi..
Finally arriving at the airport.
We went directly to checkin as I had my large suitcase to travel with.

I don't remembe exactly the boarding but apart from families I don't recall that there were any sort of priority boarding.
I was really surprised that for a low-cost airline, an IFE was available.
and some free snacks were offered too, in this case why is Azul claiming it is a low-cost airline?

Apparently this year Azul was the most ponctual airline in Brazil
I didn't take that many pictures, given the super early time on which we left, I managed to sleep up until landing.
Time for a well deserved breakfast
I was nicely surprised by Azul, I was really expecting something like Ryanair; of course I didn't find the experience onboard as Avianca Brazil nor Aerolineas Argentinas but Azul is definitely an airline that worth trying.
For memory here are my criteria
-Entertainment: None < 4.5 Magazine 6< une application 7< Wifi 8 < IFE = 10
-Cabin: visually interesting, comfortable and practicle> 7.5. For example, Ironing boards are <7
-Crew: Went for the extra mile, they outdone themselves > 7.5
-Repas: : Buy On Board <5 Free <7.5< Visually interesting, nice in quantity and quality

Yes airports don't seem to close during the night in latin america and you konw why some flights are cheap XD
