Hello and welcome back to the 3\4 part of my Prague trip and today I'm gonna cover my short hop from Prague to Munich on the Embraer E195, Operated by Air Dolomiti under Lufthansa code .I'm not sure but I'll guess it's considered an Air Dolmiti flight.

After a great vacation in Prague (I really recommend it), It's time to get back home, This time with EN\LH.
So I left my hotel around 14:00 to get to the airport by public transportation (metro and bus) 2 hours before the flight.

As I entered the terminal I realized there's no one in line for LH Group flights check-in so I thought it's closed but it was already open so it was super quick and efficient. I did online check-in a day before so I only had to send my baggage.

That's what the check-in area looks like, nothing impressive but a nice efficient European airport:

The arrival hall:

Only European flights from Terminal 2

That's the view from the windows after security, quite nice in my opinion:

D concourse, which looks like the older concourse based on the jetbridges.

Smartwings B738, Heading to Spain if I remember correctly:

An old Skoda (wer'e in Czech Republic still):

Now to C concourse, where my flight departs from.

Since it's only a European terminal there are not really interesting airlines or aircrafts, but that's what I could catch:

Boarding for Heston A320 going to Stockholm, operated for Norewgian:

The remote stand gates area, which was empty except on Ryanair flight to Rome:

After doing some Duty Free shopping with the crowns that I have left, I went to gate C9 where my flight is, Saw our aircraft coming and the passengers deboarding. In PRG the arriving passengers are first going to the departure gates area which is something I've never seen before.
Our aircraft for today is I-ADJX, an Embraer E195 (manufactured in 2009) operated by Air Dolomiti, although it mostly operates for Lufthansa.

Boarding started in a short delay, as the flight was 100% full , so they asked for volunteers to send their baggage for free.
The crew greeted us upon boarding and I went to my seat 9A.

As you can see, there was enough legroom, definitely for such short flight and the cabin was looking new and nicely designed, but as expected the seat was a bit hard and not the most comfortable.
Cabin view:

After boarding was completing and safety instructions were demonstrated we taxied to the runway and took off just on time as the airport wasn't busy at all.

Takeoff video:

Shortly after takeoff the crew served small water bottles and cookies.
I guess that's good for 35 minutes flight and at least they didn't serve the miniature water bottle that Austrian serves.

Something I really liked about Air Dolomiti is tha even on such a short flight, They have a streaming service with flight map and information, journals, music and even games.

After a few minutes (it's a really short flight), we started our descent into Munich.

We landed around 15 minutes before schedule and had a long taxi to our gate in the far end of Terminal 2 and then I left the aircraft to the huge terminal.

Just like in Prague, we went directly to the departure gates and from there you can get anywhere in the airport, So I had to walk from gate G42 (or something similar) to G20 area where the passport control for international transfers is located, but that and more will be in the fourth and final part of this FR series.

Thank you for sharing this FR, EN is one of my favorite European carriers. They operate a lot of these short hops out of MUC, but have really nice service compared to mainline LH. From the seat back, it looks like you got one with the new cabins. The catering is standard for EN, but they didn’t offer packaged oshibori?
Their inflight entertainment is quite a nice feature especially for the moving map although they lack any sort of charging capabilities, but since most of their flights are less than 60 minutes, it’s not a big inconvenience.
You are lucky to get a gate instead of paxbus at MUC!
