Background
After spending 5 days in Italy (Florence with a day trip in Venice), it is about time that we return to Paris in time, just before New Year!
Before we get into my little report, enjoy some of the photos I taken in Italy.

Florence Airport

There wasn't much of a queue in the check-in counter for Air France, so we were able to check in our luggage and retrieve our boarding pass relatively quickly.

Security checks also went smoothly, and we were in the airside in no time. It's off to the boarding gate.

You have to take the bus to get to your plane.
Boarding
A bit of hassle, since you need to take the bus to your plane, and the time window to board the plane is rather short.

My ride for the day: A319.

Just settled down.

Took off on time, and they closed the curtains later. Light refreshments was served at this point too: they offered either cheese or chicken sandwich. In this case, I picked the chicken sandwich.

Light but satisfying.
Landing
Landed in CDG with no issues, and we were able to get out of the airport without passing through immigration, since Italy is a Schengen country.

One final shot of the A319.

The A220 nearby.

It was all fun and all, until claiming the baggage!
The screen said the luggages would arrive by 14:29, but the baggages came at 15:15 hours. Ridiculous!
After this nearly one ridiculous hour in getting the luggage, we went to the city.
AF is one of the few airlines that is still full-service within Europe and offers a better experience on short-haul compared to the competition that have copied LCCs. Of course, compared to short-haul within Asia, AF is not as good, but by European and Nort American standards it stands out from the crowd. Glad you enjoyed the flight.
Thanks for sharing!
