Hello everyone,
Happy to meet you for a new trip.
This time, destination Taiwan and the island of Okinawa.
The opportunity to try new companies, and new aircraft.
The routing will be as follows:
Flight routing
- 1
- 2
- 3
- 4HX 659 - Economique - Okinawa → Hong-Kong - Airbus A320
- 5AF 185 - Premium Eco - Hong-Kong → Paris - Airbus A350-900
After 2 days on the island of Okinawa, it’s time to return.
I will reach the airport by monorail.
This one allows to reach the center of Naha at the airport in 15 min.
Having taken an unlimited pass for the day (about 6€), the journey is included to the airport.
Approaching the airport, passing over old Japanese fighter aircraft:

Then, arrival at the airport, and passage through the level of the national terminal.
JAL is on the door with a B767:

Descend one level from the monorail, and arrive at the domestic terminal:

Airport's map :

Then, we arrive in the middle of the domestic terminal:

The FIDS :

It will be necessary to cross the whole domestic terminal, to reach the international terminal, which surprisingly, is much smaller.
Pass the priority access, then the ANA lounge:

Then, in front of a typical Japanese shop:

And, finally, the international terminal :

The international FIDS (also less busy):

An area in tribute to Pikatchu, encompassing the entire food court:

And, provides access to a spotting area on the National Terminal, ANA part:

Our flight will open 2 hours before the scheduled departure time.
The queue will be shipped fairly quickly:

Head to the airside area, passing this magnificent collection of models from the companies serving OKA:

Then, an ad for the most famous castle in Okinawa, which is currently under construction:

Security checks will be shipped out soon.
You arrive directly in the duty-free zone, always in the colors of the major brands of western luxuries:

Spotting of the day.
Quite a lot of ANA on the domestic side .
Jinsee Air in B737-800:

A321 China Eastern, and one B737-800 ANA on take-off:

I will find a place to continue spotting at the level of this A320 Air Asia.
So, let a B737-800 with Star Alliance colours fly:

Followed by my A320 Hong-Kong Airlines arrival:

Sky regrows into B737-800, while an A320 Peach arrives:

A321 Starlux from Taiwan.
B737-800 Japan Transpacific, special livery.
I am impressed by the number of JAL subsidiaries in OKA!

B777-200 ANA, in special Star Wars livery:

A321 Cargo, and ATR from another JAL subsidiary:

Boarding for our flight will be delayed.
English is quite incomprehensible, and will disturb many PAX, not only on my flight.
Boarding will be done with staff carrying signs for our flight, allowing a much better understanding:

To add some convenience, the Air Asia flight to Bangkok is boarding from the same gate number:

Instant door (the color is quite original):

Fuselage shot :

My seat, 30 A:
(in the 5th row)

Seat quite thick, and amazing in a cabin these days.
The pitch is correct for a flight of 2 hours, but no more:

The ceiling light seems to be a reasonable age for our aircraft:

The contents of the cover:

The neighbour, an A320 Air Asia:

The pushback will take place with 15 min delay
Peach in A320 and China Eastern in A321 put aside:

Goodbye ground staff, very nice attention, always appreciated:

Cruising in front of the international terminal, with Starlux and Peach:

Then, passing in front of the ANA part of the domestic terminal, and a B767 and a B787:

Runway 18 L:

Power-up in front of the ANA part of the domestic terminal:

Then, the JAL part of the domestic terminal:

Take-off above Naha:

Then the island continues:

Right turn, towards mainland Asia.
The flight over the Pacific Ocean begins almost immediately:

Then, the cloud layer passes:

I will sleep for almost 1 hour, and wake up because of the turbulence.
And, for good reason, a lot of cumulonimbus during this rainy season:

The weather will be calmer as we approach Taiwan, and the scenery is truly beautiful:

No service will be offered during the flight.
The approach will start off Hong Kong, where the weather is getting worse.
Half turn on the right, then half turn on the left.
Surprising? Perhaps to avoid areas of turbulence:

The first Hong Kong coasts are appearing:

In the final on HKG:

Hit and turn at the end of track
A330 Cargo Malaysian:

An other A320 Hong-Kong Airlines :

A380 Emirates :

A321 Eva Air, catching up:

Parallel drive to our respective parking doors:

B737-800 GBA :

We will come to park right next to this company that was unknown to me until then:

Quick disembarkation and cordial goodbye to our rather unprofessional crew.
The master of the place arrives during our landing:

A320 Hong-Kong Express :

And the Emirates A380 that landed just after us:

Local LISA Tour to join immigration:

Immigration will be fairly rapid.
I will get my luggage right after:
