Hello everyone,
I meet you for a quite exceptional trip. Indeed, having to visit several friends in a rather limited time, I set out for a round the world trip, which I tried to have as much as possible. This has the following routing:
Flight routing
- 1AF983 - Economique - Paris → Tel Aviv - Airbus A350
- 2
- 3
- 4
- 5
- 6VA986 - Economique - Brisbane → Sydney - Boeing 737-800
- 7QF11 - Economique - Sydney → Los Angeles - Airbus A380-800
- 8DL2267 - Economique - Los Angeles → San Francisco - Airbus A320
- 9AF083 - Economique - San Francisco → Paris - Boeing 777-300 ER
I left you after the bio-safety check.
It was then 1 hour before the departure of my domestic flight, and I still have to re-check my luggage, change terminal, go through security checks.
It seems more than compromised.
Especially since I am advised not to check my suitcase here at the baggage check for domestic flights in international areas because the transfer time is too short.

I leave the international terminal, to take the bus towards the domestic terminal

It will be directly present and will start full in less than 5 min

Number of passengers are on short connections like me, but this does not seem to stress them any more than ca

After 15 min of bus, and a stop in front of the Qantas part of the domestic terminal, we arrive in the part reserved for Virgin Australia
There are only 40 minutes left before my departure

Good surprise on the way home, many counters are available for check-in with very little queue.
Also, my luggage is already tagged to SYD from VLI, it will be registered very quickly.
The ground staff also does not seem more worried than ca for my flight while it is only 30 minutes before departure.

The FIDS

Then, after an escalator, we enter a small corridor with 3 lines of PIF
Never seen a PIF so tight, but it will pass very quickly.
Really impressed with the speed and efficiency of BNE’s airport.
We arrive in front of our plane 20 minutes before departure.

The boarding has not yet started, I imagine again a negative scenario: delay?
We start boarding 15 minutes before the theoretical departure time

And there surprise, for the rear half of the plane, boarding by the tarmac.

The opportunity to spot the beast a little closer

No photo number in BNE
Fuselage shot

The tail

Warm welcome on board.
And again no rush when we have little time left before the theoretical start time
My seat, 16 A

The pitch is still very good for a domestic flight (even in Australia)

The ceiling light confirms the 737 NG

The flight will be half empty, but will leave on time.
Again, congratulations to VA and the airport of BNE for this express connection despite all the controls and change of terminal.
The on-board entertainment program will be activated before departure and will be highly functional.
Another plus for VA

We push back and pass in front of an F100 from a company that was unknown to me until then: Alliance

Mood lightining activated before take-off

Then, after 5 minutes of driving, take-off under the Australian night

Out it’s dark night, I will follow the flight with the help of the entertainement VA

Offered service similar to flight from VLI

Not much to report during this rather pleasant flight.
Landing on time at SYD
We will park with the other VA aircraft at the national terminal

Quick disembarkation and goodbye to the friendly crew of this flight.
Crossing the domestic terminal to exit

It’s 9:30 pm and almost no flight leaves or arrives after ours.
Except, some JetStar flights, known for these delays.
After 10 minutes of walking, our luggage will be on the carpet.
Again impressive efficiency of Australian airports.

I will again reach the city center of Sydney by bus for 2 AUD.

Thank you for reading me
See you soon for the rest of the trip
