Went to a stall famous for soyabean products.

Had various types of fried tofu, soyabean milk and curd.

Then it was more shopping before dinner at Tsim Sha Tsui area at another eatery. It was meat overdose for the evening!

On our final day, our breakfast was a light one at another eatery in Tsim Sha Tsui, with the traditional HK polo bun and instant noodles.

Final meal, lunch, was dim sum at a restaurant on the 20th floor of a shopping mall. Restaurant is Joyous One and offers magnificent views of the HK harbour and financial district!

Dim sum were exquisitely presented and rather tasty as well!

Then it was checkout from hotel and airport bus back to the airport for a 1620hrs departure.

Reached HKIA and proceeded to the bag-drop counters, where there was a long queue. However it moved fast with the many counters opened. Seemed that CX pax would normally do self-check in, unlike in SIN where the SQ bag drop counters are normally empty.

Boarding pass.

HKIA was rather busy at this time.

Gate 29 was where our flight was. Boarding had commenced.

B777-300 for the flight back.

This plane was refurbished with the shell seats in economy.

Got pillows and blankets from the crew.

Tip: If you are unable to get the extra legroom seats on this aircraft, try to select seats 74A/K. They are at the location where the fuselage starts to curve and are aligned at an angle to the seats in front, resulting in a massive seat pitch! I guess around 35-36 pitch, and I can comfortably cross my legs with space to spare!

Skyteam livery CI A330 beside.

Doors closed 10min before STD. Flight was not full, I guess around 70% load. Safety video played as we pushed back.

Video of pushback with welcome announcement in Cantonese.
Taxi to runway.

Flight time of 3h09m.

Held for a while for a few planes to takeoff and land. Guessed because we were early.

And takeoff on Rwy25L.

See the below video for the takeoff.
Seatbelt signs off and service announcement made.
Climbing over South China Sea.

Just realised that this aircraft was fitted with underbelly camera.

Beverages and nuts distributed, where I had a coke and water.

Continued with the movie which I did not complete on the previous flight.

Dinner is served.

Choices were between Chicken with rice or Penne pasta. As usual, meals came with fruits, roll and butter, and ice-cream.

Fruits and dessert. I had orange juice.

Chicken with rice and vegetables. This tasted ok.

Penne pasta in tomato sauce, with pumpkin and cheese. The penne was al-dente and my partner preferred it to the rice.

Enjoying the delicious vanilla Haagen Dazs with a Korean movie.

Again, a hot Chinese tea to end.

If I was correct, we flew over the seaside town of Nha Trang in Vietnam. Gonna go there some day!

The aft galley.

Aft economy cabin.

Dusk.

Approaching and landing soon.

Landing on Rwy20R, a full 20min early!
Parked at the same gate as when we departed. Air Niugini B738 beside.

Disembarking.
