After a long bus ride from 2G to 2E, we will go to unwind at the AF lounge at 2E/L.

Friendly welcome, as usual free wifi, good food offering and a free of charge massage provided by Clarins.

My breakfast selection:

Boarding is called on time and we will proceed to our emergency exit seats with a very good legroom. Plus, the middle seat will stay free, this is a business class seating like:



Those are the old seats but I prefer them, they are softer, recline more, they really have my favor!

Push back on time but a long taxi that will allow me a bit of spotting:

Off we go and its news time:

Then its lunch time. And even if I was prepared, it's a real deception. It is a flight I take every year, and to compare, in 2009 we had an aperitive, a paper menu and a choice between two hot meals. In 2010 and 2011 no more choice, in 2012 no more aperitive service, in 2013 no more menu choice, no more aperitive service and worse, no more hot meal!! That's a real shame. Here is what they call lunch on a 04:30 flight!!

Ok, it was quite good, but it is not enough and there is no dessert, even if the flight attendants will come with cookies, coffee and tea:ec le café et des gateaux, mais pour moi, ce n'est pas un dessert :

A few hours into the flight, a second cookies and drinks service will be performed. I spoke with a crew member and she told me that this second service is not foreseen but that most of the crews think that this lunch service is not enough and try to make the flight better by performing a second run. What does the AF management??

We then touch down and I have a good view onto those old L-1011 and this A330 that I won't be able to identify as the windows will get dusty:

Conclusion

On time flight, very nice crew, but a lunch that is more a snack and a real shame.
