Hello everyone, welcome to the second part of the trip in March 2026 from Munich to Taipei. This report will cover the flight from Hong Kong to Taipei with Cathay Pacific Airways. The Hong Kong-Taipei flight ranked the busiest cross-border airline route in 2025. In the past years, I usually flew with EVA Air for this route and my last flight with Cathay Pacific Airways to and from Taipei was already 8 years ago, in 2018. Coming back to this flight CX422, it is not a daily flight. In March 2026 there was only one flight for the whole month. Since then this flight is operating two times per week, on Saturday and Monday.

On the day of flight, I arrived very early in the morning with Taxi. I printed out the boarding pass from the automatic machine and headed directly to security check and immigration as I only had a hand luggage with me.

My face wash was with me in the hand luggage which I totally forgot. I got caught by the security check and had to dispose it.

After passing through the immigration, I went to Men Wah Bing Teng to had a local breakfast.

I spent about 30 minutes in the food court and then I visited the famous bridge to do some plane spotting. The sky was getting brighter.
