INTRODUCTION

Hello FlightReporters
On the 13rd July I went to Rome to sign the final papers to buy a house
I decided to get a flat and put it on-rent while living in northern Italy in a house rented by my company

For a lucky coincidence, my uncle turned 60 on the 10th July, meaning I could also attend the party

I got the confirmation from the sellers in the last week of June
Therefore I proceeded immediately to book the flight

Being the party in the Francavilla, the town where we've our house-by-the-sea, the first plan was to land in Pescara-PSR and fly back from Rome-FCO
However, the schedules were not suitable for my needs

I ended up booking these flights
The total amount of 197 euros was lowered thanks to a discount by ITA
Final price was 170 euros

THE FLIGHT

Even on this flight I was assigned a central seat

ITA Airways Rome → Milan

The morning of the flight I signed the final papers to become officially a home own
Definitely very exciting, I was very happy and spent some time celebrating it with my family

With the flight scheduled for 20, my parents agreed to bring me at FCO around 19
We left home before 18:30 and twenty-five minutes after we arrived at Rome Fiumicino "Leonardo da Vinci" Airport

The Terminal was pretty busy as usual

ITA Airways Rome → Milan

The flight was reported to be 45 minutes delayed
Pretty an issue, considering once landed I was supposed to reach my friends' house for a mate's birthday

Considering my rush once in Milan, I decided to skip the bag drop
I tried to change the seat, but the lady told me the plane was packed

The inspection area was nearly-empty

  • I liked your review, especially the magical green cabin lighting effect just before take off. Do you have photos of the inflight service ? I was sad to see the Alitalia graveyard :(

    • Thanx! The lighting on the A320neos is pretty good

No pictures, actually they just deliver a drink

So sad to see old glories of AZ
