Zurich Airport
Good Morning.
Today we will be heading to Genoa, Italy, for a three day supplier audit.
Since there are no direct flights between the two airports, we chose a routing with a 50min layover in Munich.
Given the fact that it is a Lufthansa Group Flight, I was already calculating at least 10 minutes of delay, leaving me with a sporty 40min connection.
Unfortunately, the mobile check-in was not correctly working.
Aftere I checked in, it automatically took my LHG FQF Number with *S instead of *G from TP, and when I tried to change it (which took 10 attempts and I had to undo checkin), it only gave me the boarding pass until Munich, but not the one from MUC to GOA.
I therefore had to queue up at the counter to collect my boarding pass in paper.
Afterwards, I was headed straight for security.
SWISS Senator Lounge A
I arrived at the Lounge and headed straight to my go-to area. (The lounge chairs).

While I settled in, I sent my work colleague to get some food for himself, since we did not have breakfast yet.
He never was in a lounge before, so I wanted to surprise him with it, and he really enjoyed the stay.
Glad I could make someone happy :)
I then went to the food area myself.

Unfortunately, it was the breakfast offering (logical, given the time of the day) but I really prefer the lunch options they have.
I then used the work pods to work a bit and checked out the bathrooms before heading to the gate.

yup, looking good. let's go.
Boarding
We boarded from A54, a bus gate. Unfortunately, LX does not use priority buses.

so the bus was quite full.

The only thing I like about bus gates is the little tarmac walk.
Quite unenjoyable in bad weather tho.

But today's weather was fine. So no big deal. Apart from the inconvenience of the bus of course.

Flight

Legroom was pretty limited. It was equipped with two power outlets but neither of them was working the for the entire flight.

We started taxi at 9:36am and took off at 9:45, with a 5 minute delay.
However, flighty already predicted a bus gate in Munich, which would reduce the connection time, meaning we would have to sprint.

and of course it was right.
The flight itself was unspectacular, given its really short flight time of just 40 minutes.
We received a bottle of water (Valser, one of my favourite water brands) and the usual small SWISS chocolate. (Which is actually one of the cheapest chocolate brands of switzerland, in case you did not know that.)
We had almost no turbulence until the approach, when it was shaking just a little.
We then touched down in Munich at 10:25, 5 minutes behind schedule.
Further delaying was the fact, that there was police at our aircraft, which boarded from the rear stairs and took someone with them, as we could see them head to the car again five minutes later with a man in handcuffs.

After that was done, we exited the aircraft and headed to the bus, which would bring is to Arrival South, where we arrived 15 minutes past schedule at 10:45 am. My connecting flight was scheduled to leave at 11:20, leaving me with a regular 5 minutes until boarding, but given the fact that it was again a LHG flight, it of course was delayed as well.

On the bus ride to the terminal, I was also able to see the 100 year livery of LH for the first time.
In my opinion, it is 100x better than the regular one and they should repaint every single aircraft.
