This is a short flight report on my connecting flight to Taipei from Tokyo Narita. The transit security check was extremely easy and done in 1 minute, as I was the only one there at that time. I quickly went to the departure level and found the Sakura lounge.

The lounge staff at the desk was very polite, after confirming I was a business class passenger, she gave me the direction to lower level of Sakura lounge.

The minute I stepped out the escalator of main entrance, the desk staff came to apologize for sending me to wrong lounge, because I was a first class passenger on flight to Tokyo, so I could use first class lounge instead, she mentioned there has sushi bar and massage service, better than Sakura one. So I ended up at first class lounge.

The boarding gate was on the ground floor, because we needed to take transfer bus to the aircraft. There was no separate bus for business class passengers since there were 7 of us only.

The boarding process was efficient and smooth, and upon on board, I found out JL changed the aircraft to 767-300 form 737-800, The business class cabin looked empty. Menu and slippers were already in the seat pocket.

A wet towel and selection of toothbrush, ear plug and eye covers were offered before departure, we were quick to close to door but we got stuck in the runway traffic, we were standing in line for take off at least 30 minutes. I felt asleep then.

After take off, flight attendant took our dinner order and offered drinks and snacks.

I ordered Japanese set meal.

The seat was not comfortable as it was old design, so did the entertainment system.

The flight arrived 30 minutes later than schedule time, landing was smooth. A long walk to the immigration.

My luggage was ready for pick up when I walk to luggage claim area.

A comprehensive photographic coverage; the narrative seemed non-existent at first glance, but (after a more careful reading / viewing), yes there is one, and up to the point despite being terse (arguably on the verge of being ascetic).
Thanks for sharing !
Thanks for your comment, you are right, my report pretty much let pictures tell the story. I will try to share more thought on my future report.
Thanks for this second FR.
The catering is again very nicely presented and even if the cabin looks a bit old fashioned it must be ok for a short flight.
Great FA's are the key to the success of a flight , yours on this flight were excellent what more one could ask for ?
I totally agree with your points. the FAs are really the key to make a flight fun and enjoyable.
Thanks for sharing this nice report! Looks like JAL's strong suit is food. From the sushi bar in the lounge to the meal on-board, the food offering looks great! The seats are old school, but I guess that's normal for short regional business class.
