Transport (taxi) to airport from STPC hotel was provided by EVA at your own convenient time but you have to notify the receptionist the night before. Receptionist suggested at least 2 hour before scheduled departure time due to re-checked. Airport is only a quick 5 mins ride from the Hotel. Complimentary breakfast (sandwich, boiled egg, lemon tea and orange) was prepared by the hotel when checked out.
CHECK IN
Busy morning at TPE, only a few people lines at the "internet check-in" counter. I was required to re-checked in and to be printed a new boarding pass. The agent was also confirming about my luggage which had been tagged to JFK.
BOARDING
As usual, boarding was commenced by zone.

Happily announced the 5-star Airline on the PTV.

the seat photo + pitch, blanket and pillow had been provided on the each seat. The flight was not full with approx. 70% load in Y, so that I could have a 3 seats by myself.

taxi-ing.
AIRBORNE

Crew started to giving out the (same design) menu of the day, followed by immigration card and the snack+drink service. Too bad no amenity kit was given. Eyeshade is available upon request, toothbrush & ear plug available at lavatory & no socks provided at all.

Lavatory condition

I understood that the flight was quite empty, but this kind of behaviour seems like extraordinary…..

EVA provides slippers for inflight used in economy, you should ask from the cabin crew for one as they are not providing in each seat.

They continue the service with brunch service. I chose the former of the 2 choices. Crews are always going around offering tea, coffee or wine non stop during meal.

Bottled water was distributed and shortly after that the cabin crew requested all pax to close the window shade.

EVA provides sandwich and fresh fruit (banana) at the galley, you just need to take by yourself.

Cabin condition in pinkish mood lighting.

While on the move..

The breakfast service was served 2 hour before landing. It was the nicest porridge I ate onboard.

Landed at JFK

It is absolutely disgusting how some passengers can think it's acceptable to prop their feet up on the armrests.
Indeed, maybe the passenger is from some kind of village with no manner education. Thank you for your comment!
The behavior of the passenger behind you is just unbelievable. I'm a tolerant kind of passenger, but I would have called the FA.
Thanks for sharing !
Thank you for your comment. FA was always around though, they must have seen his behaviour. But since I have the whole 3 seats for myself and the pax that was doing that was quite old, so I tried to close one eye and not to notify the FA.
