Hello and welcome to my 1st time on the 787 on the way to Warsaw!

I left my family in New York and I flew alone to meet friends in Warsaw, the capital of Poland. I used to fly with my family back to TLV with UA , but I had to change my direction to Warsaw.
One way ticket with Norwegian with 7 hours layover in Stockholm and without baggage cost 298 $, with TAP via Lisbon includes 6 hours of connection costs 313 $.
At the end, I've decided to change my ticket with UA's award miles, I've got 55K miles back (30K comapred to 85K for TLV), and 30$ tax return.
It is an oppertunity to try a new type of a pland and a new airline.
I took the AirTrain for terminal 7, the terminal that LOT Polish Airlines uses:
My flight has a small delay:
Check in area, the check in counter was suprise when she saw my passport, she thought that I am flying to Portugal via Poland (I have a Portugese passport), she got relaxed when I told her that I am going to visit Warsaw :

Hi Grand Turk (I have been there just a week before on my Carnival cruise)!
The dinner, there was a choice between lamb, potatoes and vegetables or chicken with rice. I chose the lamb option which was good, but not as sams as LH or TK. The tray table is too small for the dinner tray:
The cabin crew closed the automatical windows for offering some sleep for the passengers:
I felt asleep and I missed the duty-free that has some good prices.
I woke up after passing Iceland, I tried to watch a movie but I felt asleep again and woke up again over Norway:
Time for breakfast, each passenger got a box with Ham&Cheese sandwich and strawberry yougurt, meal was enoguh and good for 7 hours flight:

Yep, the IFE was Ok, not more but my entretainment on flights is the view from the window :)

Congrats on your first 787 flight! The LOT 787 looks very nice in all classes. What great luck to have a whole row to yourself! That certainly helps make the flight even more pleasant, especially since 787 Y seats in 3-3-3 can be pretty narrow. Overall looks like nice service and certainly better than UA :-)

I was really happy for my first flight on the 787 !!! I may fly on AirEuropa's 787 in June, The whole row for my safe was quite of JackPot as I was the last to board the plane! UA's 787 are also nice :)
Thanks for sharing your experience on board this very nice aircraft. The seat and IFE look good and the catering is correct ( betetr than moste US airlines) for economy altough breakfast could be more substential for this long flight.
Hi mate, Everything was really good on this flight. The flight was 7h25m which isn't so long so a snack before landing is quite enough for me (I went to eat in the city) :)

Decent experience on LO, a little bit below what SU offers but i'd rather transfer in WAW than in SVO.

Aeroflot was in the same price of the flight, but LOT offered a red-eye direct flight and on a brand new 787 which I hadn't try before this flight, Also I was little bit scared to stop in Russia.... I prefer to stop in FRA/ZRH/LIS/VIE/OSL etc..
